That’s a school of Jacks. Not good to eat but lots of fun to catch. Our canal is full of them too.

Look into installing a fish light by your dock. It attracts fish at night. It’s amazing to watch all the fish.

School of jacks. If you fish throw a spoon or a shiny lure to them and hang on. Very aggressive and have teeth so be careful unhooking
