If parenting is too burdensome, perhaps Mayor Brandon Johnson should have remained a CTU organizer. And if crime, housing, and the budget are so overwhelming, why not concentrate on those issues rather than visit the border? Pay no attention to Johnson. He is just a talker.

@ChicagosMayor I swear I'm not trying to sound like a dick but saying "I have a black wife and black children" makes it sound like that kind of lifestyle is untenable. Like we're all supposed to knowingly agree how much trouble black wives are.

Of those 48, 19 are devout progressives. Rather than scapegoating fellow Democrats, perhaps the mayor should rethink his fringe proposals.
