The biggest damage from BIP-110 failing may have nothing to do with BIP-110. Puncher75 - BIP-110 said the important part out loud on the The Bitcoin Edge Podcast. The people who saw an attack coming and were willing to stand up when it was unpopular are now being treated like the problem. "Fork off" "Leave Bitcoin" "Bitcoin won" That is a hell of a way to treat people who have been fighting for Bitcoin for years and were willing to stand up again when they thought it mattered. Maybe you think they were wrong... But treating the people most willing to defend Bitcoin like they're no longer welcome here may be the most damaging legacy of this temporary soft fork failing.
