I'm adding a new "Max" quality setting to Three.js Water Pro that produces near-cinematic-level detail. It can resolve 500m waves all the way down to 1cm ripples. And before anyone asks, no, this will not run on your phone 😂

Three.js Water Pro is finally getting rivers (and lakes)! This has been on my wishlist for a LONG time and I'm super excited to finally have the time to work on it. Tons left to do, but static flow maps are now working and using the Water Pro core renderer. I'll be including browser-based editing tools, so you can mold and shape your rivers/lakes in real-time within your scene (or define them with code if you prefer). I'll also be adding dynamic shallow water simulation for applications that require dynamic interaction with obstacles and lots more! Link to waiting list below 👇🏻

Well it took an all nighter (isn't all the best coding done at 4AM?!), but Three.js Water Pro v2.0 has launched! 🚀 Super excited about this launch—I've added a new wave system, sky/water transitions, improved foam effects, reflections, and so much more. Here's a little cinematic trailer I put together (sound on🫧). Enjoy!

And for those curious yes it does run Genshin exceptionally well. Every graphical setting at max is no issue for it, and it can fit in your pocket. Crazy stuff, not to mention how good the oled screens are

That stadium isn't going to help anyone in the next 5 years if the right plans are not put in place. Due to its level of quality and modernisation, it will be expensive for local clubs to lease for games. Maintaining it will start being an issue and the technology there will be damaged. The only way Kenya can ensure this stadium helps for years to come is to invest in local football by establishing high level football academies for all age groups from 10 to 18 years to nature talents and privatize a number of them to foreign sponsors.
