I'm testing a new technique using only Astra & Three.js to make the textures and lighting look much more realistic. In this video, I'm showing a before and after comparison with Sponza.

@threejs why ur calling Neural Rendering a new technique ?

@threejs It’s not DLSS, it’s more like a lightmapping technique.

@Nabil_Kechiche @threejs Care to explain?

@alexfredo87 @threejs if its not neural rendering then it probably means he ran some heavy rendering pass and baked the results into the meshs as textures that you just render them with 0 compute

@threejs You are not moving because the lightmapping is generated specifically from that viewpoint and would look too sparse/distorted at the low mipmap level zones once you move, correct?

@threejs you should look at what a reference image for this actual real-world location looks like first.

@threejs That's called UE4 2016 Lightmass Global Illumination

@threejs This does not scale, it breaks down when the camera reveals areas or geometry that were not visible and were not generated in the original reference views.

@threejs Very cool idea but I'd be curious to less deep fried looking version

@threejs Verh nice!

@threejs yooo share the skills, this is awesome

@threejs Before and after comparison? Niga thats unlit mode. Holy shit you aislopers are stupid.

@threejs Sponza is looking good.

@threejs This is wild.

@threejs Is this pretty much Lumen?

@threejs Am I blind? I cant see the difference. Can you post pics?

@threejs how exactly make texture? Astra use brush?

@threejs Hell yeah! Looks really damn good. I've been working on a similar custom thing (that I should probably create content for lol), but your output looks incredible!

@threejs The graphics looks amazing and realistic, How did you do it? any tips @alexfredo87

@threejs Any accessible demo? Plan to share code?, 🌸
