what are you using as a water asset (custom? or something from asset store?) also what are you using to make the water align to the rotation of the terrain below it

It's custom water shaders and river generation. it's still very rough but good enough for my games. For aligning do you mean the path it follows? thats some pathfinding that basically goes downhill but with tweaks that make it curve for visual interest.

Thanks because each day I look at it and basically see all the flaws - theres a lot:) But it does fit my messy painterly style. im not so good at pristine technologically perfect things, but I do think im good at making things have a feeling, like romanticism paintings.

The character seems too small.

I zoomed out the camera to show the river:) you can pinch to zoom out even more or zoom all the way in. there's first person view too.
