Introducing Continuous Thought Machines New Blog: Modern AI is powerful, but it’s still distinct from human-like flexible intelligence. We believe neural timing is key. Our Continuous Thought Machine is built from the ground up to use neural dynamics as a powerful representation for intelligence. Thought takes time, and reasoning is a process. Dropped it into a virtual body. It started walking. Grooming. Feeding. Doing what flies do. Nobody taught it to walk. No training data, no gradient descent toward fly-like behavior. This is the opposite of how AI works. They rebuilt the mind from the inside, neuron by neuron, and behavior just... emerged. It's the first time a biological organism has been recreated not by modeling what it does, but by modeling what it is. A human brain is 6 OOM more neurons. That's a scaling problem, something we've gotten very good at solving. So what happens when we have a working copy of the human mind?

On the left is a visualization of the neural net firing in real time. Built with Claude, Three.js, and WebGPU and using JAX from Google DeepMind. I’m piping the neuron activation into Ableton as MIDI to trigger Serum 2.

Our team The Goat Initiative recently discovered a video on a cell phone belonging to a smuggler. We are sharing this video with the public and would appreciate any insights regarding the smuggler’s accent that could assist in our investigation. - To date, our efforts have yielded nearly 30 cell phones and approximately twelve SIM cards. We have successfully extracted actionable intelligence from many of these devices. We are eager to collaborate with our government partners to ensure that the perpetrators of these illegal activities are brought to justice and incarcerated.
