It's really cool but what are the practical use cases for having a small environment running in the browser (and storing some disk/state changes kindly). Could it be used for serious dev? Or just saves installing 2/3 standard tools on a new/temp workstation?

Did you know that Visual Studio Code has HAD a built-in browser! Say "start my app in simple browser" and it will run the dev server and open simple browser to localhost. It can take screenshots of the page or element and send DOM elements to the agent chat!

These are brittle since one change in the website can disrupt the full workflow. On the other hand, high-level Agents like OpenAI Operator can be unpredictable in production. Stagehand is an open-source framework that bridges the gap between: - brittle traditional automation like Playwright, Selenium, etc. and - unpredictable full-agent solutions like OpenAI Operator. This same code can work for any aspire app without changes. Embedder can be easily paired with Pyramid that now has a more OPSEC Pythonmemorymodule with full-in-memory import and all the download chain using Wininet API to reduce the imports to the minimum and smile to those pesky NTLM proxies along the way. Pyramid updates are on the dev branch, plan merging to main soon. Here's a video that shows a 13 kB C# embedder assembly bootstrapping Pyramid to execute mimikatz. Who needs python.exe when you can bring Python to the world? 🌍
