@TheOceanCleanup This just makes me sick. Glad someone is addressing it, but what’s being done about the root cause?

@TheOceanCleanup Wow, you don't realize how bad it is until seeing a time lapse like this

@TheOceanCleanup As cool as it is that the trash didn’t make it in to the ocean, it’s bloody depressing that there is so much trash to start with

@TheOceanCleanup In the ocean, plastic debris injures and kills fish, seabirds and marine mammals. Marine plastic pollution has impacted at least 267 species worldwide, including 86% of all sea turtle species, 44% of all seabird species and 43% of all marine mammal species.

@TheOceanCleanup Wait, so, These literal truck loads used to go straight to ocean before?? 😬😬👀

It would be cool if not only us who don't throw stuff into rivers saw this, but if the people who did this kind of thing (the littering) didn't do it. So cool that the problem can be solved, and grateful to the solvers. But it would be nicer if this problem didn't exist. Obviously

@TheOceanCleanup A wonderful example of a positive, impactful technology

@TheOceanCleanup Hope @TheOceanCleanup can do something about this

@TheOceanCleanup Nice catch💚 But thats crazy huh, so much rubbish just floating out there😮😕

@TheOceanCleanup Ho ly fook, that's an insane amount of trash! Lovely to see something is done about it! Legends.
