This is what our governments should be spending money on, not wars. Helping people improve their lives.

Building on a 2024 partnership with Bharat Clean Rivers Foundation. With over 50,000 tonnes of plastic in Mumbai's mangroves,@TheOceanCleanup aims to clean rivers globally, impacting urban slums and fisher communities positively. A step towards sustainable urban futures!

Supercool! I am curious at the amount of waste you will collect from the Indian rives, especially with their population density in those cities. Would love to see a comparison of the numbers over time from different parts of the world... This may help in targeting efforts on future cleanups and methodologies 🙏

The filthiest river in the world. Disgusting. Why isn’t India majorly fined for this ???🌺

Very curious what social/cultural efforts and progress that can be done to change their values - that littering is actually bad and why, and that trash collection systems should be put into place and why. Root-cause analysis, working "upstream" of the problem itself.
