@GillVerd @BasedBeffJezos The vision is noble, but this type of marketing is cringe and reeks of the zirp tech bubble era. It may actually even be a negative signal. A github repo would have been 10x more exciting. Karpathy is the best example of this IMO. Just let the code speak for itself.

@GillVerd @BasedBeffJezos How is an interview cringe?

I thought 40min was plenty of time for @BasedBeffJezos to explain the working principles and architecture of the chip… but now I think one or more of the following is true… 1. He wants to keep riding the line between “stealth deep tech” and “look, we’re working in public” startup without choosing a side 2. He thinks that the audience is too dumb to understand 3. He doesn’t know how to explain it to a lay audience I hope it’s mostly #1 🤷♂️

@GillVerd just gonna leave this Q&A here:

@GillVerd @BasedBeffJezos Very dubious science here

@GillVerd @BasedBeffJezos Once upon a time there was a startup that had the same vibes called @rigetti computing. End of story

@GillVerd @BasedBeffJezos All mouth no neurons

@GillVerd @BasedBeffJezos It sounds gimmicky and I struggle to understand how it works. Is there a version where the principles applied in this are explained for dummies like me? At times it looks like a parody video on the current state of tech tbh

@GillVerd @BasedBeffJezos

@GillVerd @BasedBeffJezos you forgot to ask WHAT IS THE INPUT WHAT IS THE OUTPUT GIVE IT TO ME RIGHT NOW I NEED A TOY MODEL I WANT TO RUN YOUR NEURON ON MY LAPTOP USING PYTHON ANSWER ME @GillVerd
