Time has come for Kenyans to demand the disbandment of the existing National Police Service-Kenya and usher in a new police service, complete with a new name and uniform to move Kenya forward. Today VOCAL Africa and partners, we spoke to this issue and made the following demands among others: 1. Disband the current police service completely 2. Devolve police to regions but still under national government 3. Arrest killer cops and ensure all officers of the rank of inspector and above do not join the new police service 4. Raise education entry requirement to C (plain) but prioritize graduates and female officers.
