This looks amazing! Shame it's only on iPad though, could use a lightweight replacement for Substance Painter on PC

Stay tuned

Hype

Pleaaase can we get a PC version i'm on my knees. I've been complaining about hand painting in substance since the day i got it. PLEAAASE i need a lasso tool and ability to merge layers. 😭

Merging layers and lasso clips are already supported. Stay tuned for more platforms support.

I'll definitely will keep my eye on it.

I'm super interested in trying a PC version 💚

if this comes to PC and frees me from the shackles of substance painter, i will owe you my life. really neat its on ipad though. hope the launch goes well!

shame it's only for ipad and not PC, it'd be something I'd share with my peers otherwise

"Not available for Android/PC" K, call me in 10 years.

Found a bug. If draw line to the end of screen it overflows tool cord instead of clap it. Pixel will be teleported

The light version of UI looks like it was inspired by SAI lol cute I'll consider trying it maybe Which texturing options intersect with Substance Painter?

So.. You could technically paint skyboxes like this???

is it a 1 off fee of $19 ? Is there a free trial ? Free version lite etc ? Happy to pay if i know they like it

Single purchase, you can try everything except exporting and saving.

Looks cool! Any possibility that you'll do a camera mode that suits moving around an environment model? I want to do some hand-painted environments and i suspect it might be a bit of a pain with interiors etc...

Camera movement automatically adapts to the geometry, so it feels like working with a 2D canvas. It also has partial visibility and per mesh visibility. Should work fine for interiors.

Bloody excellent! (How) does it handle multiple objects? I'd love to be able to bring in a full gltf, and be able to isolate and work on elements of it at a time. being able to handle gltf scenes would be ideal... I would do entire levels.

Importing a glb will generate a mesh/texture set pair per material. You can assign the material beforehand if you want other setup.

I am going to my iPad now to purchase. Do we get glb output as well as input?

No, but can be added in a future update. The current version only export textures.

Congrats! I tried it out last night. Question about export options before I plunk down the $20: Is it just textures for now? It would be amazing if I could export a working .usdz file with maps hooked up compliantly, like Substance Painter does.

Only textures. We would like to see more usages in professional pipelines before deciding implementing advanced scene formats.

AUGH! Come on .usdz is Apple’s native 3d file format. 😃 I personally know MANY professional Vision Pro developers that are ready to pull the trigger if you can export a fully complaint model with textures. 🤞

Every tool you guys create makes me salivate, but do a considerable amount of people actually work on ipads that freq? It just seems so . . . inefficient compared to using a desktop , or even a laptop for any serious work.

Trying out this app and love it so far!! Is there a way to apply a texture you’ve already painted onto your object and paint over it?

Copy the texture to the Wafer documents folder with the files app (so the app can read it), then open the contextual menu of a layer -> import image -> color -> select the texture

If possible could you show an image or a video tutorial on this? I’m just not sure which folder to add it into and I don’t want to mess up the app hahaha

@sparseal Hope this helps:3 Just save the texture to the HDRI folder

@sparseal Thank you so much!! ^^

OMGOMG

this looks really powerful and useful. PC version please 🙏 i dont know how anyone willingly does this work on the ipad

It says free with on-app purchases. Is it's similar to CozyBlanket, with unlockable features?

Yes, you can try all features, exporting and saving require the in app purchase.

Heck.. I have a Galaxy Tab9. ☠️ But even more important: All my assets are on my PC because it's the place where the game engine sits. It looks impressive, really! I hope we will see PC and Android versions in the foreseeable future. Keep up the nice flow; it looks useful! 🍻

I'll be buying day 1 when it comes to PC I swear

Wow… I would love to buy this on PC

the ui reminds me of sai2.... i need to try this yesterday

This is wayyyy better than substance

Looks great ! Will you do a Windows and Android version for tablet ?

All my texturing needs are fulfilled with Belnder-Krita-link but this looks really nice. Def gonna buy it if it ever comes out on PC💖

Please, make this app for android too, btw nice project!

Crazy timing! Literally what I was missing for my Ipad workflow

Is it possible to run this on PC? This looks much more intuitive than substance painter.

Downloaded and ready to check it out. We need more of these tools on ipad.

Just downloaded to give it a test-drive. 10 times better than procreate in terms of workflow: for example, mirror painting and flat shading. Wonderful UI as well. Excellent work, would love to see some more built-in brushes in the future! 🙏

begging u for this on pc

Sparseal release a pc version and my life is yours!!

If you put this on PC and add vector drawing support you'd probably be king.
