It’s dry out there. And it doesn’t take much. Take a look at this fire from last night along 6th Avenue. From the air, it looks bigger that it really was- about one acre. But one acre with potential. The potential to move toward fence lines and homes. 🔥... show more

🚒💧Where does the water come from when there aren't any hydrants? In a wildland fire- like last night's fire at Fox Hollow Golf Course- firefighters create their own water supply. Water tenders shuttle thousands of gallons at a time from the nearest available water source to the fire, where engines and crews put it to work. It's a constant relay that keeps water flowing- even miles from the nearest hydrant. Watch the video to see how it all comes together. #westmetrofirerescue

#AusGP 🇦🇺 | Lewis Hamilton takes a moment to speak about the African continent: “I’m half African. I’ve got roots from a few different places there. Benin, Senegal, Nigeria.” “It’s something I’m really proud of, that part of the world. I think it is the most beautiful part of the world, and I don’t like that the rest of the world owns so much of it and takes so much from it and no one speaks about it.” “I’m really looking forwards, hoping that the people that are running those different countries all unite and come together and take Africa back. That’s what I want to see. Take it back from the French, take it back from the Spanish, from the Portuguese and the British.” “It’s so so important for the future, that continent. They have all the resources to be the greatest and most powerful place in the world and that’s probably why they’re being controlled the way they are.”

If you’re going to copy one thing from my morning routine, make it this. I’ve tried a lot of things over the years, but this is one stack that has stayed consistent. Perfect Amino for all nine essential amino acids, Baja Gold for trace minerals, and H2Tab for molecular hydrogen. I throw it all together first thing in the morning, and that’s it. Nothing complicated, nothing that takes 20 minutes to make. Your routine doesn’t have to be perfect. Find the things that work for you and be consistent with them. 🙌🏻

If you were wondering why westbound C-470 was closed last night... here's what happened. Around 9:20 p.m., a semi hauling potatoes caught fire between Highway 285 and Morrison Rd. Several passing drivers spotted the flames and smoke and called 911. The driver made it out safely and was not injured. The burning truck also sparked a small grass fire along the shoulder, but firefighters quickly contained it before it could spread. Thanks to Foothills Fire Protection District for responding with their water tender and crew to assist. Westbound C-470 was closed for about two hours while crews extinguished the truck fire, contained the grass fire, and cleared the scene.

The Paul Heyman/Seth Rollins angle from Raw was completely preposterous. "[Paul Heyman] filed a restraining order against [Seth Rollins] who wasn't served, knew nothing about it but now he can go to prison? How did this make it to television? Of all of the goofy storylines, this one takes the cake!" - Bryan Alvarez

It’s about time this NDC Government pay attention to the worsened Galamsey situation and hear these citizens out. This is Kwanyako, they don’t mine, they see no gold and yet they suffer the effects of mining from all the way Eastern Region. The NDC have a consistent attitude of nonchalant when it comes to galamsey and it shows dating back from when it all started in this format from 2010. For the sake of these senior citizens, they shld this time be a bit more serious and deal with it. Simply implement what you promised that’s all. #galamseyenablers

Michael Jordan explains why his greatest failure was actually one of the best things that ever happened to him: “All the decisions I made, other people may view to be not the right decisions from their perspective.” “Everybody says it was a failed opportunity to play baseball. That’s what they think.” “For me, it was the best thing that could have happened.” “It allowed me to go back to the game with a stronger passion.” “It helped me put things in perspective.” “When I went back in ’95 and ’96, I appreciated it even greater.” “People don’t see that. All they think about is, ‘You batted .202. You struck out a certain number of times.’” “But the effort was there. The learning curve and the passion were there.” “People are afraid to do things because they are worried about the perception that may come from other places.” “Take a negative and turn it into a positive. Don’t be afraid to fail.”

George Kittle on the electrical substation next to the 49ers facility: “The one thing that messes me up with it, this is tough, my rookie season there used to be trees in between the substation and our practice facility. There’s a fence there too and above the fence all the trees had no leafs on them, year round, all dead. Nobody notices it until you point it out. I didn’t point it out to Kyle Shanahan until 2021. A vet pointed it out to me my rookie season and I was like 'That’s kind of weird'. But then this year the NFL came in and cut them all down. So they’re not there anymore so no one can see them. So it’s only us vets that know that was the truth. I don’t think anyone talked about that yet. That one messed me up.”

Aryna Sabalenka says there wasn’t much she could do about losing the No. 1 ranking to Rybakina, ‘I didn’t perform well in the middle of the season. Elena took it over & played really well… That’s the beauty of sport. Everyone chasing everyone’ “I really understand how tough it is to reach world No. 1. It was one of my goals. But right now, not much I could do. I didn’t really perform well in the middle of the season. Elena took it over and played really well. She took away the number one position. Not much I can do about that. I can only focus on myself and stay in the moment and try to do my best right now. Just keep it tight and maybe I will take it back from her. It does feel a bit weird you can perform well at the tournament and still be taken away the #1 position. It’s okay. It’s sport. I love that. That’s the beauty of sport. Everyone chasing everyone. It’s all about little things you improve and get better at.” (via US Open Press)

About the recent snow… Although the moisture was much needed, it only briefly pressed the pause button on wildfires. Around 2:30 this afternoon AFR responded to a grass fire along the southbound I-225 off-ramp to 6th Ave. This timelapse video was captured by a CDOT camera. The fire was quickly reported to 911 by motorists and controlled within 10-minutes. No injuries occurred and crews were unable to determine the cause. Common roadside fire causes include improperly discarded smoking material, sparks from trailer chains dragging, and heat from vehicles parked in dry grass. Please continue to be extra cautious with sources of heat, sparks and open flame near vegetation. #COWX

The Lyrics of Imperfect Mew : Every moment in the song is based on a true story. 🗣️: Can you share some of it with us? Mew : Looking at the lyrics, the first verse starts from the moment of waking up. I wrote it when we were on a cruise, we went to the Caribbean together. The image of sunlight shining on his face, that messy, bedhead look right after waking up... just how incredibly cute he was 😆 Mew : The next verse talks about things we’ve experienced together, such as when we went traveling and missed a train. When we look back on it now, it’s actually funny. Or when it suddenly started raining and we didn’t have an umbrella, so we had to take off a shirt and cover ourselves. In those moments, the imperfection somehow became perfect for us. 🗣️: So this is all based on a true story? Mew: All of it is real. 🗣️: Not a scene from a series? 😂 Mew: No, it really happened. The train incident happened in Munich. Usually, he’s the one who checks the schedule. Like, where to go, which platform and what time. But that day, it looked like he read it wrong, so we rushed because we thought we were going to miss it. But actually, he didn’t read it wrong, the train changed platforms. We had to go to another one. It was funny. No one was at fault… the platform was the one that was wrong 😂 Mew : When I told him which moments behind the song, he related to it so much. He listens to it every night now. He probably knows the lyrics better than I do 😂 Mew : Usually when I write a song, I let him listen to it first. He relates to this one so deeply that he especially loves it.

Matt Hardy reflects on what has changed with WrestleMania over the years: “It’s a different product—it really is. It feels very mainstream. They have all the advertisements and everything else. It feels very different from standard WWE. There are things we look back on from 20 years ago, when it was a much simpler, easier time, and think, ‘Oh, that was so good. That was the best. I wanted it to be like that.’ But, you know, things change. Things evolve. They continue to move forward. It is definitely very evolved and so different from what the initial concept of WrestleMania was as a mega event. It feels very prostituted because of all the ads and everything else.”

Ingraham: We still have a lot of questions. For instance, was the president fully briefed on the risks of all of this from the beginning? And was he able to take it all in and understand how complex it could actually get—including the potential for casualties or other damage? Or was he told this would be relatively quick—an in-and-out operation?

Qullamaggie on The Only Way to Build Confidence in Trading “It was a combination of studying the patterns. What I did was I built a database in Evernote, which is pretty much a note-taking software. I took screenshots of all the setups before and after, both on the daily and intraday time frames, just to look at what a good setup looks like—at the start of the move or before the move, when it starts breaking out, and then a few weeks or a few months after. How does it act? I looked at all these variations, and that’s how I built the confidence. I started trading the setup myself too, and I saw some success. It felt like I was always improving. I was always learning a new variation or something new, so that’s really how I build the confidence. I say it on my stream too—like everyone should do it. Whatever setup you stumble upon and you want to trade it, backtest it. Look through hundreds if not thousands of examples of that setup, build a database, and go through that database once in a while. Just scroll through it. That’s how you memorize this. It’s all about pattern recognition really. Trading is all about pattern recognition. It could be just purely technical, and you can also combine it with fundamentals. Like I do, I also look at the theme—what’s the theme, what’s the earnings, revenues. I look at the news overall, like what’s driving the stock. So I found some similarities there too. It’s the same things that have worked for 100 years really. That’s how you build the confidence. That’s how you do it—there’s no other way.”
