Cyclists given fixed penalty notices for failing to follow road signs breaching the highway code. I congratulate the police as some of my fellow cyclists ignore every rule possible as so not to stop …. We must do better …..

It's been over a year since the Highway Code was updated - many people are still unaware of the changes. In this quick video we explain four key rules: hierarchy of road users, passing cyclists, junction priority and the Dutch Reach. Please share to spread awareness.

They complain when drivers don’t show consideration, yet have little or no consideration for other road users. Should cyclists pull over for vehicles?

Accident in a Nairobi highway after a vehicle collided with another stationary vehicle on the road. The stationary vehicle had not put out Life Saver Triangles on the road to warn other road users… and that led to the accident

Watch Tesla self-driving v14.3.3 fail to detect bollards on a highway, forcing the driver to intervene to avoid a crash. @ElonMusk, other road users did not sign up to be your crash test dummies. This software should be banned from public roads.

HWC Rule 178: Allow cyclists, including any moving or waiting alongside you, enough time and space to move off when the green signal shows. HWC Rule 163: leave cyclists at least 1.5m when overtaking. HWC Rules H1–H3: drivers must protect vulnerable road users. This kind of overtake can be Careless Driving under the Road Traffic Act 1988. Police treat close passes as careless/dangerous overtakes. Let cyclists clear the junction. It’s the law - and basic decency.

Highway Code: Reversing (Rules 200–203) • Check all around before reversing, including blind spots. • Reverse slowly and be ready to stop. • Don’t reverse further than necessary. • Watch for pedestrians, cyclists and children. • If your view is restricted, ask someone to guide you.

As a HGV driver the Highway Code states that I have the greatest responsibility when it comes to the safety of other road users. I didn't realise that that put me above the responsibility of The State. That's a fucking cyclist killer, and I'd lose my licence if I was as hazardous
