I found a way to create artist controlled Global Illumination in Roblox Studio. Roblox usually auto generates global illumination depending on the collision mesh but i found a way to bypass it so now i can have artist controlled GI wherever i want! #RobloxDev

It feels like we've finally reached the point where the latest Assassin's Creed game has Unity lighting, but in real-time. The reason why AC: Unity looked so good back then and still holds up extremely well to this day is because it uses baked lighting. Real time global illumination allows for a full day and night cycle.
