The Minister did however, initiate a review of the SAPS tender awarded to him when suspicions of possible wrongdoing surfaced. It was the same tender which has since been terminated. Since Thursday, the internet has been down across Iran, making it significantly harder to gather and verify information. Nevertheless, some video footage is still leaking out of the country. Iranians are not giving up and are desperately fighting for their freedom.

Gavin Newsom's new return-to-office mandate that takes effect today requiring most state employees to work in person four days per week instead of the previous minimum of two (for most state workers). They argue telework has proven effective and productive, adding the return-to-office mandate will increase traffic and add costs for everyday workers and taxpayers. On the other side, Newsom argues the return to office mandate will improve productivity and improve downtowns. SEIU Local 1000 says the demonstration also comes as its contract with the state has expired. No agreement has been reached for a new contract.
