Of all the things that never happened I'm betting THAT never happened the most.

Disgraceful. Invading another country is illegal, reckless, and a stain on America’s credibility. We’re not a rogue nation.

For God’s sake . Stop this

If this is accurate, it’s beyond reckless—it’s an absolute fatal idea. Ordering invasion plans against Greenland, territory of a NATO ally, would be illegal, strategically insane, and guaranteed to shatter alliances, provoke global backlash, and permanently damage U.S. credibility. Even the military recognizing it as unlawful says everything.

Make Greenland Great Again!

I like Miller. He isn’t now nor would he ever be involved in something like this. My guess this is a canary trap to find a leak inside the admin.

From "would you consider selling?" to "prepare the invasion force" – Trump's Greenland fixation has escalated from bizarre real estate pitch to illegal military draft. A perfect metaphor for this admin's descent. This Jan 5th JSOC directive, orchestrated by Miller without Joint Chiefs consultation, mirrors the illegal Venezuela invasion – both driven by resource greed masked as policy. The Pentagon's resistance proves its illegality, while the $42 billion occupation cost estimate exposes the fantasy behind the $1.2 trillion mineral claim. NATO now faces the absurdity of Article 5 invocation against its own leader. When allies become acquisition targets, America becomes its own gravedigger.

Who would have imagined that Greenland could be the catalyst for restoring sanity to America. Time for the military to stand up and for the 25th Amendment to be invoked. The insane Orange Clown needs to be in jail or a padded cell and his freak show cronies behind bars.

🇺🇸😏

It's coming.

Trump is a fucking traitor.

I really wouldn’t put too much stock into what The Daily Mail says

The Daily Mail are the biggest dupes in journalism.

All this new stuff is gonna be super cool! 😃

It's time.

I’ve heard the plan is very complicated. Due to the vast size and ferocity of the Greenland military.

It would be illegal in fact

This idiot also said earlier that china has no wind power when in fact they have the biggest percentage of wind and solar power in the whole world. He is a liar and a criminal

Why are Democrats concerned about Greenland? Isn’t Greenland supposed to melt away due to climate change?

What the hell kind of strategy is it to let them know what you’re planning? Donald Trump has ordered his special forces commanders to draw up a plan for the invasion of Greenland - but is being resisted by senior military figures, The Mail on Sunday has learned. Sources say that the policy 'hawks' around the US President, led by political adviser Stephen Miller, have been so emboldened by the success of the operation to capture Venezuela's leader Nicolas Maduro that they want to move quickly to seize the island before Russia or China makes a move. British diplomats believe that Trump is also motivated by a desire to distract American voters from the performance of the US economy before the mid-term elections later this year, after which he could lose control of Congress to the Democrats. But such a dramatic move would put him at odds with Sir Keir Starmer and would effectively lead to the collapse of Nato. According to the sources, the President has asked the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) to prepare the invasion plan, but it is being resisted by the joint chiefs of staff on the grounds that it would be illegal - and would not be supported by Congress. One source said: 'They have tried to distract Trump by talking about less controversial measures, such as intercepting Russian 'ghost' ships - a clandestine network of hundreds of vessels operated by Moscow to evade Western sanctions - or launching a strike on Iran.' Diplomats have war-gamed what they describe as an 'escalatory scenario' under which Trump uses force or 'political coercion' to sever Greenland's links to Denmark. One diplomatic cable describes the 'worst-case' scenario as leading to 'the destruction of Nato from the inside'. It adds: 'Some European officials suspect this is the real aim of the hardline MAGA faction around Trump. Since Congress would not allow Trump to exit Nato, occupying Greenland could force the Europeans to abandon Nato. If Trump wants to end Nato, this might be the most convenient way to do it.' Under the 'Compromise Scenario', Denmark would agree to give Trump full military access to Greenland and deny access to Russia and China. Although America already has free access to the island, it would be put on a legal basis. The cable says: 'For domestic political reasons, Trump can start with an escalatory scenario which shifts to a compromise scenario. 'European officials fear that, for Trump, the window of opportunity before the mid-terms is closing in the summer, therefore action is expected sooner rather than later. The Nato summit on July 7 seems like the natural timing for a compromise deal'. It concludes: 'The current concerns [about an invasion] are driven by the most extreme views coming from Stephen Miller. The UK's positioning will be key - whether it sticks closely with European allies or breaks ranks [to sanction Trump's approach].' A diplomatic source said: 'The generals think Trump's Greenland plan is crazy and illegal. So they are trying to deflect him with other major military operations. They say it's like dealing with a five-year-old'.

The Daily Mail’s “invasion” narrative is pure hysteria. Let’s be clear: Greenland’s strategic value for Arctic defense and missile interception isn’t up for debate—it’s a geographic imperative. The real story? H.R. 1936, the No Invading Allies Act, explicitly bars military action against Greenland without congressional authorization. This isn’t about “resistance” from generals; it’s about following the law. The administration’s focus is securing Greenland through diplomatic channels and mutual agreements, not reckless force. Critics framing this as warmongering ignore the fact that Thule Air Base already operates under a 1951 U.S.-Denmark treaty. Strategic expansion doesn’t mean invasion—it means leveraging existing partnerships to lock down Arctic dominance. The media’s panic-mongering only distracts from the real goal: ensuring America controls the chokepoints that keep adversaries in check.

Greenland needs to taste some freedom 🇺🇸 😏

Look at all that white covering Greenland! For years Greenland has been dog whistling "snow" Russian and Chinese cartels are glorified mules of Greenlandic "snow".

If this is true, it’s a terrible idea. You don’t “liberate” an ally at gunpoint and expect NATO to stay solid. If Greenland matters, you do it the American way: negotiation, a compact, investment, and consent. Strength without wisdom is just ego with a budget.

@Hellakew12345

It’s time to invoke the 25th amendment. You cannot let him attack a NATO ally. We could end up in WW3. With our friends.

Keep all options on the table. Keep them guessing. Art of the Greenland New Deal.

Trump is taking Greenland one way or the other. It would be smarter for them to just let us buy it.

it's disraceful that Congress will not remove this obviously senile old fool

We are living in the sequel to Idiocracy
