here's a small project i put together recently - a custom "bare-metal" protected-mode x86 NES emulator. it fits into 1MB RAM and loads ROMs from a floppy disk, no OS required. if you want to turn your old PC into an awkward NES clone with bad sound emulation then look no further.

I've been working on a Windows emulator for my research. I have now implemented the GDB serial protocol. Being able to debug my own emulator using IDA is just crazy. I love it. 😂

Another pointless weekend project - a playable version of the old 3DMaze screensaver from Windows 9x. I reverse-engineered the original screensaver binary and added user-input functionality for the controls (and fixed some other minor issues!)

A few months ago, I started exploring AI, music, and creativity with my son. He started showing a passion for music, so we decided to create an experimental music project that fuses all our passions. A musical exploration that blended our love for Trap hip-hop, metal, and anime gave birth to "Afraid2Sl33p." Our first single, "Come Undone," will be released on streaming platforms as part of a self-titled 8-track EP in a few weeks. Here is our first AI music video. Music created using Suno V5, lyrics written by my son and me. Keep creating and keep exploring. Cheers.

i recently decided to revive my old nintendo 64 emulator project. the CPU and RSP co-processor are working quite nicely, but the software rasterizer is still a work-in-progress and is very far away from being "hardware-accurate" (lots of visual glitches for now 🥲)
