Russia is carrying out hundreds of strikes against Ukrainian cities and communities, attacking our civilian infrastructure every day. This past week alone, the Russians have launched 1,920 attack drones, 1,790 guided aerial bombs, and 17 missiles of various types against Ukraine. We need to step up our countermeasures against these attacks. We are preparing for meetings with partners to strengthen our defense against this Russian terror. The G7, EU, and NATO summits are ahead. And it is very important that these negotiations result in concrete decisions. We expect meaningful meetings with our partners. First and foremost, we need support for air defense and our long-range capabilities, an expansion of cooperation in the Drone Deals format, and further strengthening of sanctions pressure on Russia. Every night and every day, they intercept Russian Shahed drones and missiles. This morning, they successfully shot down a Russian ballistic missile. Every success like this saves lives. Ukraine is deeply grateful to all our partners who provide interceptor missiles and air defense systems. We are currently working to secure additional supplies—missiles, defense systems, and everything necessary to strengthen our mobile fire groups. We will do our best to make the 🇺🇦 sky shield only stronger. Here, in our skies, we can prove that terror is losing. All together we can prove it – all partners, the entire free world. Our people continuously suffer from Russian terror. This week alone, Russia has used over 600 guided aerial bombs, more than 60 “Shahed” drones, and nearly 40 missiles of various types. We have significantly strengthened our air defense shield this week, thanks to Germany and the United States. Ukraine’s Patriots will prove their worth even more in countering Russian terror. However, to protect all our cities and villages, and to truly overcome Russian terror, we need more concrete decisions. Next week, we will work with our partners for such decisions – preparations are already underway.

It is critical that such strikes do not become routine for the world. We continue our communication with partners on Russian missile production. Today, Russian savages launched another missile attack on Odesa with Kalibr missiles. Dozens of components of these Kalibr missiles were supplied to Russia from other countries. Obviously, each such supply route is a way to strengthen terror. The world has the tools to cut off all such routes – from every country, from every company whose components are used by Russian missile manufacturers.

Today, we once again commend our warriors for their precision—specifically on enemy territory. This is what fundamentally changes the situation—our ability to bring the war back home to Russia. Another arsenal in Russia has been hit, and it was a significant one for the occupiers. I am grateful to all our warriors in the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine who were involved. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and everyone else who took part—great job. There’s also commendable work by the Security Service of Ukraine on yet another Russian military depot. This one held Russian tactical missiles and guided bombs—all the tools Russia uses to terrorize our cities and positions. We are achieving this thanks to our capabilities and our weapons—without the means our partners can provide, which could significantly accelerate the end of this war by destroying Russia’s offensive potential. If we could direct all our precision to defend Ukraine—if we had enough missiles and permissions that our partners can provide—the overall situation in this war would be much better for our security, and for the security of everyone in the world who doesn’t want to live in the conditions of such aggressions as this Russian one. We are convincing our partners and will continue these discussions next week—Ukraine needs full long-range capabilities. This is terror, by definition, without any disguises. The strikes harmed over thirty people across the country. As of now, five people have been reported killed. My condolences to their close ones. A significant part of our energy system is damaged. Air defense is the top priority right now. Our people here in Ukraine are responsible for the physical protection of facilities and their recovery following strikes. However, true and comprehensive protection from Russian missiles and "Shahed" drones is only possible with sufficient political will on the part of our partners. We work on it every day. Every day, we persuade partners of the importance and, more importantly, the feasibility of full protection of Ukrainian skies. Russian terror is only possible because we do not have enough modern air defense systems. Frankly, because our partners lack the political will to provide them. They all know exactly what is required and who can make life-saving decisions.
