Terrorists offers security to illegal mining site somewhere in the NW, Nigeria. The individuals in the video were seen washing off the golds extracted. This shows there is a correlation between Banditry and illegal mining.

Turns out the full node can travel light: same full verification and 97% less storage. We previously said substantially lower storage would require a separate light node with different security assumptions. Well, we got one thing wrong. Our upcoming upgrade delivers that reduction to the full nodes, with full transaction verification stays intact. Igra node storage: 1TB -> 30GB. Storage growth: 150GB -> 4GB per month at current activity. Running a node and verifying Igra yourself is now practical for far more people. Node operators and attesters: details and documentation coming shortly. Decentralize the world!

🛠 Node System Upgrade 🛠 To transition the Master/Common Nodes to our new zkChain, Oceanum, the Node Token claims will be temporarily unavailable from July 15 to September 30. During this maintenance period: ✅ Your Node rewards will continue to accumulate in your account. ✅ No rewards will be lost. Once the integration is complete, you'll be able to claim again and even run your own AI nodes without delegation!

Destra Network| True decentralized Storage solution How Destra Decentralized File Storage solves the centralization issues in Filecoin & IPFS Filecoin and IPFS have become synonymous with decentralized file storage, highly hyped alternatives to traditional centralized data storage systems. However, a deep dive into their architecture reveals a crucially centralized component: both networks rely on a set of centralized bootstrap nodes. Whenever a new node wants to join the Filecoin or IPFS network, it must first communicate with these bootstrap nodes to obtain information about other peers, placing complete trust in the provided information. The Filecoin team operates these bootstrap nodes on centralized cloud servers. These nodes serve as the initial points of contact for new nodes entering the network, acting as directories to facilitate the network's mesh topology, and thus are critical components of the architecture. Major Centralization Concerns: 1. Surveillance: Centralized nodes offer a concentrated point for surveillance. Authorities or malicious actors could target these nodes to gather data on user activities, node interactions, and network dynamics, posing significant privacy risks. 2. Central Control and Censorship: The operators of bootstrap nodes potentially wield significant control over the network. They can influence which parts of the network are more discoverable or enforce certain network rules, leading to a form of gatekeeping. This centralized control contrasts with the decentralization ethos of blockchain and peer-to-peer technologies. 3. Single Points of Failure: Bootstrap nodes act as central hubs through which traffic and connections are often routed, especially during the initial connection phase. This setup can create single points of failure. If these nodes are compromised, go offline, or experience technical issues, new nodes may struggle to integrate into the network, potentially taking down the whole network. At Destra, we are building the Destra Decentralized File Storage to ensure that such centralization or pseudo-decentralization has no place in our architecture. As always, we are committed to our vision of 100% decentralization, delivering an unprecedented level of decentralization to our users and the broader ecosystem. As we continue developing the Destra Decentralized File Storage, we will keep on publishing regular updates to our community.

Complex workflow? Break it down into sub-workflows for better performance and easier re-use. Now, it’s too easy not to. Steps to get more modular workflows: 1. Select a set of connected nodes 2. Right-click and select Convert to sub-workflow (or Alt + X) 3. Watch magic happen 🪄 🎩 This action will opened a new tab and paste in the selected nodes with their parameters intact! For the encore, the selected nodes in the original workflow will be replaced automagically with a Call My Sub-workflow node. #n8n #lowcode #awesome

OSINT UPDATE: Abdul Aminu, the lead coordinator for extensive illegal mining operations in Ilesha, is currently operating with the full cooperation and approval of the local community leadership. Video below shows him and the traditional ruler of the community he's conducting is illegal activities, meaning he's given full approval to keep destroying farmland and water bodies all in the guise of mining, which effectively shields his activities from accountability. If this partnership between illegal miners and local heads is allowed to persist, it will inevitably lead to a total security breach, the Osun state government needs to step in before the situation gets out of hand.
