Keith Kellogg: Putin is trying to put a lot of pressure on Donetsk Oblast, and I think you can't give up that land to do it, because giving up that land, you give up the fortified cities, and you give up defensible terrain as well. I've told the President of the United States, if you're really concerned about them giving up the land, make Russia fight for it, because Ukrainians will do very, very well. Keith Kellogg also said the United States will not recognize any occupied Ukrainian territories as Russian: They can occupy them, but we're not going to give them any legal justification for being there.

On Kherson Liberation Day, we honor all of our brave men and women who resisted the occupiers, liberated Kherson, and continue to work to protect people from Russian terror. Our defense forces will certainly respond to the Russian army's strikes on Kherson and surrounding areas. As they usually do. If Russia were winning, they would have occupied more territory. If Russia were winning, they would not be bringing in North Korean fighters.
