#Lanterns [SPOILERS] John going back to Hal's grave to dig up the ring & summon his consciousness was FOUL PLAY. Through this, we'll probably discover who actually killed Hal. I know for a fact this isn't the end of his story.

That's 100% why he did it. It's not foul play. He's trying to find the truth of what happened, not just take the ring.

I know, but my point was the principle of John digging into grave, opening the casket, touching Hal's corpse to get the ring in order to find out the truth is just fucked up by itself 😭 he doesn't give a single damn

He's has a hunch hal isn't dead

Yup, there's a reason why the "killer" hasn't been revealed immediately and they've been stalling the answer. Even during the autopsy the details (aside from John punching him) just seemed off, no real mystery is ever solved that quickly.

I love this show, they did a freaking good job with it.

He can't be, no way. I don't believe this is how it's ending, there's still questionable mystery behind Hal's death & no one knows the truth besides him. John knows something is up—that's why he's getting info out of backup Hal to learn why he would've came back to Rushville.

But there's still a lot of questions to be asked and could perhaps claim that Jordan might be alive for example why would he not allow anyone to know about John being there and also the sinestro breakout situation? Could he be involved could this lean into parallax?

I don’t believe the guardian would allow the most powerful alien tech to be left on earth for simple reasons unless they know more then they letting on especially the fact guardian can shape shift as well who to know they ain’t around and I have doubt Hal really dead

Hope it's not Hal in the coffin. The ring never chose another recruit or John. Guardians were simply grounding Hal by keeping the ring on Oa.
