Wages stagnant, inflation up over 20% in the ladt 6 years. Devalueing the dollar. That 20% is what I used to save for vacations and recreation. Now I can just afford my bills and rent an extra movie on fridays as I sit at home wondering why the fuck aren't we hanging the badyatds that csused this?

Gambling is legal in almost every state of is one reason. The next is the cost they priced themselves right out of existence. Vegas use to be fairly inexpensive trip casinos made their money off gambling not the hotel cost. Corporate greed has a lot to do with this!

I live here and it definitely wasn’t dead on Fremont st (downtown) cuz I was djing that night 🤷‍♂️ Also keep in mind NYE was on a Wednesday. Went to this afters spot and a ton of people came in at like 430-5am but it was mostly locals. With that said, there’s definitely a decline in NYE enthusiasm all around and there are fewer reasons to come to Vegas nowadays imo. Most people are probably coming for conventions and sportsball instead of gambling and partying 🤷‍♂️

I live in Vegas and this is a total and complete exaggeration. Stupid post. Yes, it's slowed down but not to the degree shown in the video. Take a video on a Monday night when it's raining outside and this is what you'll get almost anywhere you go.

It's not that everyone is broke, people are gambling at record rates rn. But why would you pay for a flight, hotel, food, entertainment etc when you can sit at home and open draftkings, polymarket, or stake and gamble from your couch?

Years of abusing their tourists will do that. People were accustomed to how Vegas operated 20 years ago. Now they just blatantly gouge everyone and charge premiums for every damn thing and don’t give anything back in return. The people who corporatized Vegas deserve this.
