We recently performed a successful #TAVR in a frail 79-year-old lady weighing just 35kg, with severe aortic valve stenosis with severe left ventricular dysfunction (EF 20%) at Kauvery Hospital, Marathahalli. She did develop some rhythm issues and also had to undergo a permanent pacemaker implantation after a day. We were able to discharge her after 4 days. Yep… it’s good to know where your water shutoff valve is. I got home from work last night to find a small bubbling spring in my yard. Turned the water off, dug it up and clamped a patch on it overnight. Not having everything be a swamp this morning made getting it fixed a whole lot easier. Turned it back on this morning just to see how big of a leak it was… apparently the builder inexplicably used a foot of galvanized steel pipe between the PVC and copper.
