Linebackers!🚨🚨🚨 As linebackers, we have to key the guards for run reads, high hats (pass), and for pulling guards. Linebackers have to communicate with each other when they see a puller, screaming “pull, pull, pull!”. The linebacker to the side of the pulling guard has to shuffle over the top staying inside out of the ball carrier. The other linebacker away from the pulling guard has to either box or spill the puller to the other linebacker depending on their defensive scheme. In this video they are boxing the puller back to the other linebacker. It is very important for the linebacker shuffling over the top to keep his depth and not stepping up field. Offensive lineman wants you to step up field so they can cut you off and make a running lane for the running back. #LBU

Here are all the scores of Jordan's 69pt game and notes on each score. The "Jordan can't go left" is a HUGE myth as MJ went meaningfully left more than TWICE as much as going meaningfully right. Hardly any true ISO scoring so that "illegal D made it easy for ISO" just doesn't apply here. He scored almost all his points on 0 to 2 dribbles. Breakdown of scoring: 30 successful scoring attempts of which 4 he dribbled the ball up the court. Of the remaining 26 scores, he scored with these amount of dribbles: 0 dribbles: 9x 0-1 dribbles: 17x 0-2 dribbles: 22x 0-3 dribbles: 25x 0-4 dribbles: 26x (out of 26) He had 10 scores where he meaningfully went left or right and 7 were to the left and only 3 to the right. Meaningfully left/right is dribbling towards the basket & making it near the FT line or closer. He had 16 scores that were jumpers and 10 that were layups/dunks. His most common scoring was off-ball....where he would catch & shoot or catch, 1 dribble, then shoot. He frequently drove to the basket on just 1-2 dribbles. This driver with the POV turning left says the right of way belongs to his car. The car coming from the opposite direction is turning right and proceeds to merge in front of the car turning left and takes the right of way. I looked, there is no yield sign for the car turning right. Different takes on this - A Dmv instructor said the right hand turn has to wait till it’s clear because they have a shoulder merge with a median in the way. If the median wasn’t there, the left hand turn has to wait. But a professional CDL driver with decades of experience said with an open green light both ways, ( unless the right turn has a yield ) the left turn will ALWAYS yield to straight or right turning traffic. ALWAYS. What do you think? Who has the right of way? The car turning right or the car turning left?

2v2 Score Game! All players start at the 10. Coach throws the ball into 1 of the offensive players. Ball carrier must touch the 20y line then they can score. Offensive player without the ball has to touch the hash or sideline before they can block. Defenders mirror the offense. If you’re on the ball carrier side you have to touch the end zone. Blocker side defender must touch the same time hash or sideline. Sometimes I’m not a fan of 2v2+ drills as there’s too much info to process, but this was a sweet spot of action and reading + reacting. Good drill that’s gonna stay in the rotation for sure!
