Local coding agents can't do end-to-end work at your company. Proliferate is the open-source platform for company-specific agents that can. Provision secure access to your tools, set up automations, and let agents work in the background. Congrats on the launch, Pablo Hansen!

@proliferateai guess I should’ve applied to YC lol

@proliferateai Incredible to see!

@proliferateai this guy knows a thing or two about being tuff

@proliferateai Great work @thepablohansen

@proliferateai 🚀🚀🚀

@proliferateai What I like about this: it doesn't try to replace engineers. It gives agents their own sandbox and lets the team verify through live previews. The human stays in the loop but doesn't have to babysit a terminal window 🔥

@proliferateai that's wild, let's go Pablo!

@proliferateai Congrats @thepablohansen !!!

@thepablohansen @proliferateai lets gooo

@proliferateai this is where the real enterprise value is. generic coding agents hit a ceiling fast because every company's codebase has unique patterns, conventions, and technical debt. company-specific context is the moat.

@proliferateai Wooohooo huge congrats @thepablohansen !!

@thepablohansen @proliferateai Sent you a dm @thepablohansen

@proliferateai It will be amazing!

@proliferateai Sounds awesome! Following. Congratulations on the launch!

@proliferateai One thing that stood out to me is that you emphasized agents working in the background, but I'm curious about the implications for transparency and explainability in decision-making. When agents are invisible, it can be harder to understand the reasoning behind their actions.

@proliferateai Love that this is open-source, makes it easier for users to contribute back and improve for everyone!

@proliferateai The fact that Stripe and Ramp had to build this custom tells you everything about why this needs to exist as an open source project.

@proliferateai Hello @thepablohansen @proliferateai I am building an AI applied to Marketing tech startup and would greatly appreciate being able to do marketing for you as an outside consultant. AI + Marketing

@proliferateai This is the future of efficiency!

@proliferateai this is very interesting

@proliferateai Legendary @thepablohansen

@proliferateai Love the acknowledgment that agents get things maybe 80% right, and that the product is designed around that reality. Instead of pretending the AI is perfect, you get live preview URLs and multiplayer sessions so the team can close the gap together.

@proliferateai local coding agents that can't touch your internal tooling miss most of the value. provisioning secure access to real company systems is the hard part. congrats on the launch

@proliferateai Hype, love that it's open source

@proliferateai Super excited to see this live!

@proliferateai i still remember when my 'local' coding agent was me, frantically googling stack overflow at 3 am. progress.

@proliferateai this is fricking awesome! can I invest?

@proliferateai Agree. In practice, the gap isn’t “coding” — it’s context, permissions, and execution across real tools. Company-specific agents win when they can follow the workflow, not just write code.

@proliferateai congrats!

@proliferateai the background automation piece is interesting — curious how you're thinking about observability when agents are doing work async without human supervision?

@proliferateai Awesome stuff, congrats Pablo!

@proliferateai Overpromises kill trust far worse than lack of magic

@proliferateai provisioning secure access to tools for automations sounds really useful to me

@proliferateai Company-specific agents are next step, congrats. But once they’re working in the background, cost isn’t per prompt anymore, it’s per workflow. How are you thinking about bounding execution spend as these agents scale internally?

@proliferateai Lfg!!
