This sounds like the technology being developed in the Secret Space Programs that William Tompkins talked about in his book "Selected by Extraterrestrials". The dark secret secret space programs were working with the "deep state" for a long time, but thankfully the Earth Alliance has cleared much of the dark secret space programs from our planet. The difference is, every Tom, Dick, and Harry doesn't want a time machine in their garage. They want affordable bills, security for their families, good healthcare, and maybe a couple of holidays every year. There's zero reason cars, homes, commercial airliners, etc couldn't stay exactly as they are, just powered by clean, effectively free energy instead. Literally no one is demanding access to this technology so they can go travelling the cosmos.

Friendly reminder: DoD/Navy etc. are withholding the release of an untold number of UAP videos claiming classified platform capabilities can't be revealed. Yet, DoD throws these blurry dots out there appeasing public calls for transparency, even though we all know they got better stuff.
