If any other auto company shipped what Tesla just put in my Cyberbeast this morning, it would be a MAJOR launch event, like with a stage set up, a 40-minute presentation with people flying in around the world to see how amazing this technology is. Tesla on the other hand just sent it to my truck overnight with an over-the-air software update. I downloaded FSD (Supervised) v14.3.8 this morning and made Grok do all of this while my Cyberbeast drove itself. Watch the video, if you think I’m lying. I had Grok: 1/ add a destination 2/ add a second stop 3/ start FSD (just had to press a button) 4/ turn my AC to 68 5/ turn the seat coolers on medium 6/ then change the seat cooler to high 7/ play a song 8/ change to a different song 9/ open the glovebox (had to enter my pin) 10/ close the glovebox 11/ tell me the weather 12/ play Elon’s song 13/ change my destination to San Francisco mid-drive 14/ pick a Supercharger bc I was almost out of battery ALL with my hands and feet off the steering wheel and pedals… Here’s exactly how it went. I said hey Grok, take me to the Pruneridge Golf Club closest to me, then the Starbucks near there. It set both. I started FSD with a press of a button. Then I just kept talking to it. It was kind of hot in my Cybertruck, so I asked Grok to set the temperature to 68 and cool. Done. Then I said put the seat coolers on medium… it turned it on. Then I said change the seat coolers to high… it bumped it up. I said to play a song from Future… it put a song on Spotify that wasn’t what I was looking for. So I changed it. I said to play a song from Lil Baby. That was the one. Then I asked Grok to open my glovebox. It wouldn’t do it until I put my PIN in on the screen, which I actually respect for safety. I typed in my PIN… it opened it. Then I said close the glovebox… it closed. I asked what the weather was… it said it was sunny in Santa Clara, high 85, low 64. Then I said play Don’t Doubt ur Vibe, I think that’s Elon… it pulled up Don’t Doubt ur Vibe by Elon “EDM” Musk on Spotify. Halfway there I changed my mind on where I wanted to go. I said actually take me to San Francisco first and that I might have to stop at a Supercharger bc I’m almost out of battery. Grok looked at my truck sitting at 14% battery life with 38 miles of range. And knowing San Francisco is 39 miles away it found a Tesla supercharger for me to charge along the way. I said thanks Grok. A Tesla is starting to feel like an AI on wheels that can drive, listen, understand what I want, control the cabin, change my plans, and solve problems for me in real time… almost like another person is there with me, except that intelligence is embodied in the car itself. And the wildest part is I didn’t buy anything new! I went to sleep with one Cyberbeast and woke up with a more capable one. That’s why I think people still underestimate what happens when Tesla combines FSD, Grok, its vehicles, and over-the-air software into one system. That car sitting in your driveway doesn’t stay the same car. It keeps gaining new abilities. It keeps getting smarter. And often, you literally wake up to a major release that changes what the car can do. Any other automaker would have put this on a stage. Tesla shipped it while I was sleeping. Mind blown…

Tesla Unsupervised Robotaxi in Austin 1. First time at night after 7:30 PM 2. Literally pulled over for cops 3. It lowered the cabin volume while it stopped for first cop and then continued waiting for second cop car 4. Slowly turned the music up back to original volume. Incredible!! I forgot how much I missed this car. I’m in a brand new Model X Plaid right now. Black on black. The Model X was my first Tesla… it was the first vehicle that I fell in love with. The one that made me a believer. I bought it outright years ago when I was 31 and fell in love with every little detail Tesla poured into it. The doors. The cabin. The way it felt like the future showed up in my driveway. Elon calls it the Fabergé egg of cars. I get it. It’s beautifully designed and timeless. When I traded mine for a newer Tesla, I told myself I’d be fine. And I was. But sitting in one again… Damn… I missed it. Most products are just cars, but this one always felt like art that happens to drive. My love for the Model X will have a place in my heart forever.

Coming out to a preconditioned car with a warm seat and letting it drive me to my daughter’s work on a -33c morning is the type of thing that causes Tesla owners to roll their eyes at you when you say “but they’re no good in the winter.” This is my 6th winter with my Model 3 and it has 357,000km on it. Still working better than when I bought it.

For most companies, this feature would be the main headline event. Today I had Grok in my Cybertruck start my day with a motivational quote from Elon Musk. Then I told it to take me to the Apple Visitor Center. Then the Tesla store. Then coffee at Starbucks. While driving, it told me the weather, updated me on how $TSLA was doing, while I just sat there, completely hands-free, watching my Tesla take me exactly where I asked, all in real-time. Then I sipped my morning tea from my Tesla mug. I danced in my seat a little bit bc I was happy. And my Tesla handled the entire drive. Just my voice and no stress. This is what the future looks like, and it’s only possible bc of the power and synergy of Tesla FSD and xAI’s Grok. Once you experience this, just 1 time, there’s no going back. I feel bad for all my doubters and haters who had to drive themselves manually to work today… bc I didn’t.

What happens if your Tesla is at 5% battery and you have an emergency? What happens if your wife is about to give birth and your Tesla is in the middle of a software update and you can't drive her to the hospital? These are actual question I get all the time? I've never heard someone ask what happens if your wife is giving birth while your car is getting an oil change? What is up with the excuses? All the reasons why people don't want a Tesla? They seem to be happy when they can latch onto reasons to justify not getting a Tesla. The justifications don't make sense once you are educated. It is all irrational thoughts and fears over Tesla ownership.

I don’t have my action cam rigged up right now because I’m with people, but had to pull this and share it. FSD V14.2 will literally drive you off of a completely unmapped construction site using cameras and neural nets. Understand that this is a big grey block of nothing on the map and the car did not have any routing path on the GPS until we made it out to the road at the end. Do you understand the difference yet? Are you getting it? Tesla already ships robots to consumers.

Tesla’s predictive navigation just hit different. I woke up in the car, about to say “Hey Grok, take me to the gym”… and before I could even ask, Tesla already suggested the gym as my #1 destination based on my driving history and routine. Didn’t type anything. Didn’t say anything. It just knew. This feature that learns your common stops is actually super useful.

My driver profile should be DELETED. I realized that the more I use FSD, the further back my seat has gone into a lounging position, not great for actual driving when I need to re-park. So, I set a manual driving profile that pushes my seat up and steering wheel closer. Hopefully just a temporary solution until Tesla nails unique parking scenarios. I want to manually park my car once and have it remember that exact spot every single time.

Just got my Tesla FSD 12.3.4 update. This is my third update in three weeks. Just tested it out this morning on a blind turn and it’s getting better and better literally every week. The great thing about owning a Tesla is that you get a new updated car all the time. You never get bored of the vehicle you are driving because the vehicle you’re driving is constantly getting better.

I just wanted to test drive one—I’d never even ridden in one before. I hadn’t looked at the Model Y much, though I saw them on the road all the time. Like a lot of gas-car drivers, I used to think EVs were kind of stupid. But over the years, Tesla’s infrastructure has improved so much that I decided it was worth checking out. “My current car was a 2020 Volvo that was starting to show its age. Even though I had promised my husband I’d keep it forever, maintenance was getting ridiculous. The 50,000-mile service alone cost around $800. So I booked a test drive appointment for 1:00 p.m. “At the center, a Tesla advisor drove me first to show me how Autopilot worked, then handed me the keys. I only drove for about 10 minutes, came back, and spent some time exploring all the car’s features. After that, I was sold. I wanted it. “Before going in, I had already checked Tesla’s trade-in offer on my Volvo and it was significantly better than what Carvana was quoting. The numbers made sense. All I had to do was fill out the finance application. The rate was an incredible 0.99%, and if I kept the loan the entire term, the total finance charges would only be about $800.
