28 years ago today - A forgotten near miss in the US June 28 1998: United Airlines Flight 863, a B-747, has an incident in California (US). All 307 aboard unhurt. After take-off, jet had problems on #3 engine. and nearly collided with San Bruno Mt. before dumping fuel and landing safely. Incident led to revision of pilot training. The aircraft lost so much altitude in the accident that it went below ATC radar for about 15 seconds. Some sources state the aircraft missed the ground for as little as 100 ft and people on the ground called emergency services to report an airplane was about to crash. This piece of history will interest you. Not many people know this but 419 scams started in Nigeria as far back as 1920. Yes. As far back as 100years ago. It was more and more popular with time that in the 70s-90s there was a lot of 419 scams and as osuofia said in this song, people sold airports and stadiums 😂 of course it was scams. Infact a nigerian scammer once even sold an imaginary airport to a Brazilian bank for 242million DOLLARS yes. 😂 it’s a true life story. You can Google it. His name is Emmanuel Nwude. Carol Shaw, a solo female creator delivering a million-selling classic in a male-dominated space. To give you a better context: In 1982 the gaming industry extremely male dominated, only 3% of the developers were women - and only a fraction of that in leading roles. Shaw started at Atari in 1978 (one of the first ever women in such a role) and moved to Activision. River Raid is her most famous work, and she's widely recognized as one of the earliest professional female video game designers/programmers. River Raid became hugely successful - lucrative enough for her to retire early - and helped normalize women in game development. It was a quiet but significant milestone in an era when the field was just forming and considered to be "just for guys". The Jews believed they were entitled, based on the Balfour Declaration of 1917, to the entire mandate of Palestine to be the future Jewish state. In 1921, it became clear that wasn't to be. What they really want is a second Palestinian state, a 58th Muslim state, a 23rd Arab state in the world—but it's just too much to have one teeny-tiny Jewish state. On six different occasions, Israel, America, and the international community offered the Palestinians their own state, their own sovereign territory with their own government to to do as they please with, on the land that college kids now seem to believe they deserve a state on. And what college kids don't understand is the Palestinians rejected that state on six different occasions. On college campuses, when kids chant "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," realize that is only the English jingle that was created in order to appeal to and deceive American college kids. In Arabic, the original phrase is: "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be Arabic." They want a full Palestinian Arab state from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea with no Jews on it. That's what they've done in every other Arab country in the world, where they've expelled and ethnically cleansed the 850,000 Jews who lived all over the Muslim world, starting in the middle of the 20th century. People who have lived there, by the way, for centuries, all ethnically cleansed. They want to do the same thing with the 10 million people who now live in Israel, and we're never gonna allow that to happen.

🚨 — It all started with a false tweet from an anti-Eritrea account claiming that the Ethiopian military had been “mobilized” [to seize Eritrea’s coastline]. Enter Brandon Weichert, who apparently skipped the part where you check if something is true before repeating it. On the Steve Bannon show, he confidently told millions of viewers that the Ethiopian military had already taken “operational control” of the Eritrean coastline and that this would allow Israeli and U.S. ground-based missiles to strike Houthi targets in Yemen. Just like that, the claim took off and had some Ethiopians celebrating all morning, as if their military had quietly captured an entire coastline without anyone noticing, or as if Washington had personally handed them the keys and said, “Go ahead.” However, the same person who posted the original tweet had to record a video explaining that Weichert completely misunderstood it and clearly has little clue about what is actually happening in the region. His confident analysis turned out to be nothing more than misinformation with a microphone. It is a perfect example of how fast nonsense can travel once someone with a platform repeats it, and how quickly people run with a story before anyone bothers to check if it makes even basic sense. Hello all, In this post I am sharing the proofs which shows the Showoff star Allu Arjun attitude and the tragedy, Stampede at Sandhya theatre , Hyderabad on 04-12-2024. As soon he entered Theatre along with 40-50 private security the pathway leading to upper balcony was completely closed and pushed all others.led to pressure on grill gate leading to lower balcony and Stampede. 5. While going to upper balcony the Actor told his assistant to close upper balcony gates and again crowd rushed to lower balcony. 6.inside Theatre (screening area) his security created ruckus in upper balcony too. Suffocation and Stampede in lower balcony. 7.while Revathi and her son who were found unconscious in lower balcony were shifted to outside and cpr given there.but Actor still inside and watching. 8.despite police informed about death,incident and crowd he refused to go till the movie finishes. 9.even while leaving he stood through sun roof and waved despite knowing what happened till then. 10. [Part 8] The games most played with Taehyungie hyung in the boot camp: National Games: Mafia, Liar, Yang Se-chan) 👤In the bootcamps, using phones is prohibited. So it gives the feeling of returning to childhood mindest. So we played a lot of games. The guys got together and played games like mafia game, yang sechan game, liar game, zero game. I think in my entire life I played the most games in the bootcamp. When we played these games, there were 3 barracks, and Taehyung hyung mostly used to go my barrack (3rd barrack) to play. Whenever we gathered to play, Taehyungie hyung acted as the MC alot. He acted as the MC and helped everyone have fun. Even as an MC he was extremely good at it. And whenever we went for shooting practice, there is a waiting area with about 100 chairs. We’d wait there for like an hour, and since there was nothing to do, we immediately started playing Zero Game. The loser has to be flicked in the forehead. Since everyone were grown men, being flicked that many times (6 times per game) really hurt. A lot of people ended up with swollen foreheads. (
