“I have a right to clap… drag me out.” A physics teacher was arrested for clapping a speaker who criticised a planned data centre at a public meeting in the US last week. Lux Claridge was dragged away by police at the meeting in Emporia, Kansas, prompting a plea of “please don’t hurt them” from the resident who had been speaking. Attendees at the meeting had been warned to avoid “snapping, clapping” and “rude comments” by mayor Becky Smith, but Claridge insisted he had a right to applaud speakers. "Claridge did not comply with law enforcement's efforts to remove him from the premises, requiring officers to physically carry him out of the meeting," Emporia police said in a statement. He was charged with disorderly conduct and interference with law enforcement then released on bail. His trial is set for September and he plans to plead not guilty. Residents attended the 22 July meeting to oppose the planned Flint Hills Digital Campus data centre.

🚨 JUST IN: JD Vance helps to clarify President Trump's stance on data centers, highlighting his desire for data centers to put power BACK into the grid "I think probably 99% of the backlash to data centers has come in areas where building a data center means higher utility and higher electricity for the people on the ground." "If you build a data center, you should be putting power back into the grid, not taking it out, and if that is happening, I don't think the data centers are that controversial."

“Sea water won’t work well with data centers, lol.” Microsoft conducted large-scale experiments with underwater data centers in the North Sea for two years. The results showed that underwater data centers had a much lower failure rate due to stable temperature, the absence of oxygen, and no human tampering. They were testing this for the coming geophysical event and to protect their precious digital data and A.I. Why would they tell you the experiment worked perfectly, saved money, but was then sidelined? Because of the most ridiculous reason imaginable: ‘climate-change environmentalists’ were protesting that the data center was “warming” the water! 🤣 Simpletons are literally ruining the world. Everything happens right in front of our eyes, and people can’t see it because they’re manipulated with stupid lies.

MoistCr1TiKaL comes out strongly against data centers in recent video and ponders if they're making people sicker due to hoarding clean water "AI data centers are actually the boogeyman..a scourge on this planet and a stain on civilized society..no normal ppl with functioning frontal lobes want data centers in their community, it is bad for them" "I've been getting conspiratorial..I was reading something that someone was sharing about like when a AI data center came through, and the impact it had on their water, cause that's a very common thing" "I'm not fully bought into it..but it's an interesting theory..what if the reason there's been seemingly so much more sickness, like it feels like ppl are getting sick more frequently now and a wide variety of illnesses just seem more common..what if AI data centers are hoarding all of the clean water..what if all the clean water is being diverted to the AI data centers and the normal civilians are just getting the sludge runoff..I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility..they are evil enough to do that" (Via penguinz0 on YT)

🚨🚨FARMER HANDCUFFED AT OKLAHOMA DATA CENTER TOWN HALL FOR SPEAKING TOO LONG! 😡👇 🚨Watch Darren Blanchard get dragged out by police in Claremore, OK (2/17/26). His "crime"? Going seconds over his 3-minute limit to protest "Project Mustang"—a massive AI data center threatening local water and power. When Darren tried handing public docs to city officials, the City Manager cut his mic and had him arrested for "trespassing." Pure corporate-backed government overreach silencing local taxpayers. A local utility company in Illinois has plans to help lower residents electrical bills They will be requiring new data centers and planned data centers to sign 10 year contracts saying they will be responsible for paying for upgrade costs and electricity usage costs “That means any new data centers would be on the hook for power upgrades and any energy they plan to use, even if the data center ends up not getting built or if they don't use as much power as planned or if they close. So if they use the power that they're applying for, then they'll pay their fair share of the cost of maintaining and building our grid through their rates”

Data Centers are coaching their workers on how to lie to the public and their family about how Data Center water usage is actually a good thing “I work at an architecture firm that mainly does data centers, and just to give you all an idea of how out of touch the people making these things are. Today we had a meeting where we were essentially asked to defend the water usage of data centers to our friends and family in conversation at the dinner table or online. They provided them with a graph to break down water usage (included) but I’ll go over it The chart compares “domestic water usage” (toilets, sinks, etc.) for a typical-sized closed-loop data center of 600,000 gallons per year against other things of “equivalent square footage”: Cornfield: 5.85 million gallons Vineyard: 5.60 million Golf course: 5.45 million Peanut farm: 2.88 million Movie theater: 935,000 5 households: 730,000 They make the point that “Data centers aren’t the big water users you think” But that’s not really true “It's still using an incredible amount of water — and the key piece of evidence here was when someone gets pissed at a data center's water usage, ask them if they like golf. And when they say yes, let them know that a golf course uses 9 times as much water much water as a data center. That'll shut them up, because no one disapproves of golf courses using an exorbitant amount of water…” Not to mention, this is incredibly misleading The 600,000 gallons is mostly just building operations of things like sinks and bathrooms. It downplays or completely excludes the main water use, which is cooling the servers More fake propaganda

WOW 🚨 Illinois resident says everyone showed up to their City Council meeting to oppose 14 data centers being built She said so many people showed up to oppose it, it took 6 hours with public comments At the end Democrats didn’t care and UNANIMOUSLY VOTED TO APPROVE THEM “I just spent six hours at a city council meeting — where they were discussing the 14 data centers they're gonna build in my city. And public comment went on for hours and hours and hours of people telling them how badly our community does not need this, and how detrimental it will be to the people, the wildlife, the health, the everything, all of the negative impacts of the data centers. We told them, and we told them over and over and over again, and then at the end, after sitting here for six hours, telling them this is not what we want — they unanimously voted yes for the data centers in our face”

"The big data center park in Virginia, you just see bunny rabbits in the field. There's nothing. It's just a big building and a bunch of parking lot and then nothing." "It brings jobs. The people that work in them aren't getting paid pennies. And it also brings high tech talent. And then also infrastructure, and infrastructure powers everything you do. So if you have a data center nearby, your internet's faster. Things like that work better." Barrett Lyon Joel de la Garza

Georgia is basically turning into one large data center Get ready for this, there is no legal obligation for data centers to disclose how much water they will be using - Georgia currently has about 162 data centers already - They have an additional 141 new data centers planned - Combined these data centers will use 12+ GW or more of power, this is equivalent to the usage of 10 MILLION homes - Combined water usage estimate of 35+ billion gallons per year or higher Absolutely insane There is no comprehensive federal requirement for data centers to publicly report detailed water usage. A bill was introduced called “the Data Center Water and Energy Transparency Act” to mandate reporting of energy and water consumption to states and the EPA This is an issue, here’s one example The Quality Technology Services data center in Fayette County used 29–30 million gallons of water went unmetered and unbilled for months without initial detection. Residents complained about low pressure during drought conditions. The company later paid retroactively $150,000 but faced no fines

Four people arrested at a city council meeting over contested data center - a man bites a police officer's hand ----- Colorado Springs police said four people were arrested after a disturbance at a City Council meeting about a planned data center. According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, a woman began interrupting the meeting with a megaphone. When officers moved toward her, another person tried to keep them from speaking with her. Police said a man then came up behind an officer, grabbed the officer’s vest, and pulled him down. A fight followed. Two more people — a man and a woman — joined the struggle. During the fight, police said a man bit an officer on the hand. Officers used a Taser to try to control the scene. Police said one officer lost a pair of glasses, and another officer’s body camera came off his vest. Investigators later said someone in the fight picked up both items and hid them.

🚨 A 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL SPOKE OUT AGAINST A DATA CENTER AND POLICE FORCIBLY REMOVED HER — THEY'RE COMING AFTER YOUR FREEDOM OF SPEECH A 14-year-old girl showed up to oppose a proposed data center. She tried to speak. Moments later, chaos erupted. Police removed her from the meeting. A teenager raises concerns about a project that could affect her community for decades... and ends up being escorted out. But that's not even the craziest part. Because Microsoft lawyers have openly admitted that communities don't want data centers in their backyards. They know residents push back. They know people don't want them. They know local communities fight these projects. And yet the projects keep moving forward anyway. Again. And again. And again. Meanwhile, data centers keep demanding more electricity. More water. More land. In Georgia, outrage erupted after reports that a major data center operation used tens of millions of gallons of water before residents were later told to conserve. At the same time, Marco Rubio announced the government's plan to roll out facial recognition. Digital IDs. Biometric verification. AI-powered systems. And every one of those systems requires massive computing infrastructure. What exactly are they preparing for that requires this much power, this much water, and doesn't allow public input?

🚨 MAN PUTS MINI DATA CENTER IN HIS HOUSE — “THEY PAY ME $150 A MONTH AND COVER MY ELECTRICITY” This man just became the first person to install a mini data center inside his own home. In his own words: they’re paying him $150 every month, covering his entire electricity bill, giving him high-speed internet, and a full backup power system. He says the unit is now producing Google results for a 100-square-mile radius around his house. He even jokes he could reprogram it to tell everyone the weather will be 500 degrees tomorrow and no one will survive. His mindset is simple... if you can’t beat the data centers, let them move in and pay your bills. Would you let a mini data center live in your house for $150 a month and free power… or is this the moment we officially hand our homes over to the AI grid?

This man was arrested at Fort Walton Beach in Florida for being in the water. Apparently he grabbed his boogie board and sprinted into the ocean. 🌊 🏃🏻‍♂️ They had told him to get out of the water. Double Red flags were in effect. You can see that the officer had to physically take him down in the sand with help from others and handcuff him. 😳 People said that he told police and lifeguards that it was federal water and that he should be allowed to swim. Some said why can’t we live at our own risk? That he should be allowed to do what he wants. Others said they possibly saved his life and he doesn’t even know it. I have never seen that happen before, but I understand it. Have you ever witnessed this happen before, someone getting arrested for going in the water? Do you think it is a good look? Or who cares about looks, they saved his life and you have to follow the rules?

Skepticism about data centers is extending to Wall Street, Maureen Farrell tells Ruffini and David Gura. “I talked to bankers. They were expecting at least sort of a third of all the IPOs would be data center builders for these AI data centers or the companies that supply power to them. And very quickly, it's looking like these are going to be very hard to get done.”
