Manchester United have this issue of not recognizing/allowing threatening situations to develop in the final 3rd. Execution (decision & timing) remains an issue, but so does the lack of synergy in movement, maintaining tempo & recognizing the best option.

I’m not demanding that players need to be on it for the full 90 mins. Of course opportunities will be missed and execution will suffer. However, when there are no signs of development/improvement, it becomes an issue. The pre-season we had was good. Mount being fit definitely helped. Zirkzee was also positive in those games. But both players are not starters, and even with them final third play was something that we clearly needed to work on.

Don’t get me wrong your attackers should be wanting to score but sometimes they look to shoot at the wrong opportunities. Wonder how many shots from Cunha have been from wide/tight angles and off balance where he either drags it or slices it

Do you think Cunha sees the picture quickly enough? Sometimes it feels like he panics and doesn't know what to do, but knows he should do *something*, so just gets his head and down and runs with it

Cunha is one of the worst for this, thinks he's still at Wolves... constantly trying to play hero ball.

Kobbie decision making in orchestrating is not good enough. Subbing Tielemans instead of him was terrible from Carrick. The amount of times he forces play with Dorgu Rashford whom both were terrible is baffling. While we have our best player/creator on opp side free 🤐

This is basically Ole's United still - competent when they can sit back and hit you in transition, clueless when they actually have to break down a settled opponent.

Those two game last year (city and arsenal) irreparably damaged ManUs ability to judge Carrick. Even with similar points haul, without those victories, Indon't think he gets the job

This is my exact problem with how the team plays. Makes you wonder what they do in training cause this should be bread and butter situations, but everyone of them ends up in stupid decisions. Is it the coaching that's lacking, or do we just have daft players?

this is simply cos they dont train, carrick is pampering them and not doing enough

Mount and Amad will do better than anyone else there, we already see it last year at Brighton when Mbeumo scores

United played Many games for only one side wide, as Arsenal and City played both side wide. LB shouldn’t stand that high.
