MARVEL ARE CREATING A WUTHERING WAVES / GENSHIN IMPACT COMPETITOR! Project Comet is a free-to-play mobile ARPG built around Marvel heroes and villains. Testers described it as a Genshin Impact / Wuthering Waves-style Gacha with real-time combat, crossed with Marvel Ultimate Alliance’s squad missions. In terms of platforms: Confirmed... in the test materials were iOS and Android. Later trailer posts and a Russian write-up of the Bilibili footage claim PC cross-play as well. Console versions have not been mentioned. Store badges in the trailer material point at Google Play and the App Store, but specifics are not yet available. In terms of gameplay: It features manual control, not auto-pathing. On-screen stick plus ability buttons, with several skills and an ultimate per hero. Missions are built for a four-player co-op squad and can be replayed on higher difficulties for better rewards. Environments shown so far include neon city blocks and more fantasy-looking strongholds. Characters confirmed so far: S-rank: Wolverine, Doctor Strange, Captain America, Doctor Octopus A-rank: Invisible Woman, Elektra, Spider-Man, War Machine Closed test invites went out in early June 2026. It'll almost certainly be a massive flop and go the way of Mystic Mayhem. I really dont think there's much of an appetite for a mobile-only Marvel gacha game in 2026. They should've built this for consoles/PC first, then backported it to mobile and opted for cosmetic MTX instead.

PC built mobile cross-play are the best kinds of cross-play games. Build them with PC quality in mind first, then port them to mobile. Building them for mobile first and porting them to PC/console means they're a low quality mobile game first.

As one of their trusted testers, Google Deepmind flew me out to London and gave me a Pixel phone with the new Project Astra preinstalled on it. They let me test it, explore with it, and try to break it. They even had a mini-bar setup so we could test its ability to make mocktails. Here are some snippets of what Project Astra is capable of. It feels more like a personal assistant in my pocket than anything that's come before it. I got to see even more than this at DeepMind but I'll have to wait on sharing that stuff. Look out for more details soon. :) Note: In this video, I sped up the gaps between me asking questions but I did NOT speed up the gap between the question and Astra's response. The responses are in real-time.

My honest impressions for The Blood Of Dawnwalker are ready. Bookmark it so you can return to it. 📌 I know you're in a hurry. So here's the TLDR: The game is a strong narrative piece so far. I'd describe it as a mature story with a focus on consequences. The time mechanic is very cool and does not hinder gameplay at all. In fact, it adds a really fun twist to the gameplay and makes you genuinely care about the people around you because your actions directly impact them. The villain is not afraid to be straight-up evil. How refreshing! You're in for a thrilling prologue where you learn the fundamentals of the game and see a reflection of the themes and writing the game has in store for us. Still here? Enjoy the rest of the impressions then: Characters make mistakes, and some are even self-conscious about their personal flaws! So refreshingly well written. I love it when characters are this believable. I really love Anca so far and to find out she was voiced by Nightsong from Baldur's Gate 3 was a great surprise. Brencis is also fantastic. The voice acting is also so well done. Everything was perfect here. Laslea is dreadful with a heavy atmosphere. It reminded me of From Town (From TV Show) because of the normalcy people try to keep to to despite their predicament. It is genuinely horrifying to picture yourself living as cattle for Brencis and his clan. The story so far is easy to follow. The pacing in the prologue was great. The build-up to Brencis was well done and his interest in Coen is fascinating. I think it's funny how he's kind of obsessed with Coen. THANK YOU REBELWOLVES for having a villain who's straight up evi... a HERO. He removed taxes and hard labour, what a legend. All he asked for in return was a pint of blood. The gameplay feels like an evolution of The Witcher 3 formula. The combat, however, is closer to a Kingdom Come game. I personally liked it because it offers a fun system where you can perfect parry and do cool duels with multiple enemies. Vampirism changes it all up and offers unique traversal mechanics on top. Some actions can only be done during daytime whereas some other actions require you to be a vampire. Still talking gameplay here: the time mechanic is fascinating. Not the first time it's been done but for this game specifically, it makes sense and it adds so many stakes to EVERY quest. There was an old lady I wanted to help but I didn't make it in time because I prioritized my mum so she suffered a harsh consequence... That said, only some quests are time sensitive. You can still do a ton of quests that don't advance time. The soundtrack... What can I say here? Rebelwolves cooked. It's a treasure. Visuals are beautiful. The materials, character models and especially the clothing are all made with great attention to detail. And the eyes are so beautiful too. Performance: Unlike what some others are reporting though I had a very smooth gameplay experience with zero stutters. That said, it's an Unreal Engine 5 game so the better your hardware the better your experience so I don't speak for all. Let us know how your experience is with the game so far. Other notes: if you're a Witcher fan, this is a must play for you. Also, Mirto's haircut is funny.

First Impression About Neverness To Everness CBT This will be a long or short one and I mostly have plenty of good to say about the game so far and some bad. First I want to get out the way: Graphics In short, we already know its good! But this is definitely playing some part on performance on my end and it wasn't entirely bad experience at all just some fps drops here and there but its playable and 90% of time it was smooth so the performance issues is a easy fix (apart from some I've seen have already started having crash issues so it'll be different for all of us depending on your specs) I'm well in range of the specs so if I'm having some small issues that mean whoever has worse specs will have it worse. Performance/Optimizing the game etc is not something that should be ignored anyway and most of the time developers of recent time feel like they don't care about improving it, I hope NTE by release or during the test will fix the issues by then (crash problems etc + its day one of the test anyway) Second: Combat Just like wuthering waves, the games combat is fun (I still think it can benefit more on having more effects/impact frames etc to really nail the combat experience...) I know people have compared some characters to WuWa characters as "plagirism" but most part alot of characters in the game have their own charm and uniqueness to the combat The boss enemies also may have some unpredictable patterns and can put alot of pressure or aggression on you but isn't exactly too hard thankfully! But its still great because I like how fast pace and intense the fightings are when your in the boss fights Common enemies don't have much going on for them. Third: Story Unlike Genshin and Wuthering Waves the story for NTE or Neverness to Everness is actually more "Human" one of my viewers described it as and I actually agree, I'm not saying WuWa nor Genshin storytelling is bad but the way NTE tells its story is more morden and you can easily be engaged with it and understand everything clearly! The story is also pretty goofy and just like zenless they have great animations and (VERY) expressive with their animations which makes for great overall experience and I prefer this storytelling the most out of other games. (this is a personal preference) The gacha system is some sort of board game but the game gacha is F2P friendly?(For now for what I've seen) and there's no 50/50.. I was also almost able to max out alot of characters that aren't S rank in almost a day too Thats all so far, I'm still experiencing more as I go but this sums up my 5 hours so far into the game on stream and would love to see y'all in the next stream tomorrow. After I reach 50 hours or more I will do a video in conclusion about the game and what more I would love to see. I’m a resident doctor and I’ll be going out on strike from April 7th. Wes Streeting and Keir Starmer have removed 1,000 extra NHS specialist training jobs; a decision that means fewer potential consultants and GPs, and potentially longer waits for patients in the future. This not only harms doctors, it harms the public and the NHS as a whole. But this isn’t just about those 1,000 posts. It’s also about the bigger picture and what it symbolises. Doctors’ pay has been cut in real terms for over a decade, and resident doctors are still earning 21% less in real terms than a doctor in 2008. There are now far more doctors than speciality training posts, so thousands of doctors can’t progress in their careers to become specialists even though the NHS desperately needs more of them. Last year around 40,000 doctors applied for about 10,000 specialist training posts. Instead of expanding speciality training posts to tackle waiting lists, the number of potential future specialists is being reduced by this Labour Government. At the same time, during negotiations, the Government reduced the investment that had been discussed and spread it over three years instead. So we’re in a situation where pay is still down in real terms, training bottlenecks are rife across the NHS, and the number of potential future specialists is being reduced. That’s why I’m going out on strike with Resident Doctors.

Now that I'm 80 hours in and have completed Rinacita, I want to give my thoughts on Wuthering Waves as a whole, both from the perspective of a new player and as someone who hates the gacha monetization model. When I first started I was told that 1.0 (The first arc/region of the game) was mid. I disagree with that sentiment. While the first 7 or so hours were bogged down a bit by lore terms and exposition that often left me confused, around Yinlin's companion quest is when I started getting invested and upon reaching Mt. Firmament (10-15 hours?) I was locked in. What I WILL say, is that the first arc of the game is mid in COMPARISON to what the game offers and becomes later on in every single regard, writing, dialogue, gameplay, music, map/world design, everything. Rinacita is truly a game changer and you can see the game's budget increase in real time with higher quality animations and cutscenes, as well as the map basically being an entire game on top. Every single companion quest without fail has ranged from solid to great, even making me tear up on a few occasions (Encore lol) and making me care about characters I never thought I would. They're truly a highlight and the writing is what makes this game go from just playing with attractive characters to playing with characters you actually care about. The sheer amount of content this game offers is absurd with both varying forms of short/long form content. It's hard for the game to feel repetitive when it gives you a new character to play as or constantly introduces new mechanics. (puzzles, traversal, combat challenges, bosses, etc) Even 80 hours in there's constantly new mechanics being introduced to me. The combat and team building is great, simple but with a level of depth that allows for some player expression (especially newer characters) and the various Forte's and movesets of the characters are both satisfying and incredibly flashy. The audio design specifically on some attacks is very punchy like Chisa's ult. The game is also just, gorgeous. The art design for everything in Wuwa is stunning, the map sizes are huge with varying biomes and the heights you can fly can be jaw dropping at times. Almost every location is screenshot worthy and the music does a lot of heavy lifting to, especially once you get to Rinacita. Wuwa just might also be the most F2P friendly Gacha that exists and while I stand by the idea that every game (including this one) would be better without gacha systems I have to give credit where it's due. It is INCREDIBLY generous with summoning currency (asterite) and I'd even wager to say, due to the store prices being absurd (If I remember correctly it's about $25 for 1 multi-summon) unless you're very well off it's a horrible decision to spend money for summons in this game when you could easily grind that in 2-3 hours of gameplay. Not to mention the pity system being very favorable and lenient. Even if you find yourself playing with mostly base characters for 40 hours (like I did because I didn't know you got more asterite from exploring than doing quests) the game is constantly giving you new characters to temporarily play as in quests to stop combat from getting too repetitive. Once again the characters are a massive highlight, in design, gameplay and writing, this is quickly becoming one of my favorite worlds where every arc introduces new favorites for me. I find myself enjoying where Rover is being taken as a character and that she's starting to speak more and more, slowly seeming to become less of a self-insert even if she'll always be that to an extent. I'm not going to lie to you and say the story is some unique masterpiece that avoids all tropes. It's not, you've likely seen similar stories told, but it executes everything at a high level and accomplishes what it's trying to do. The biggest flaws are the file size and the prices of the in-game store, as well as it's nature as a gacha game. Even if it may be the most generous one. The actual optimization of the game I find is solid, on PC with a 4060 I run on almost max settings and get 70+fps even with how massive the world is. The starting few hours can also be slow and exposition heavy with lore-terms you don't understand. Leaving you confused and disconnected for awhile, even later on in Rinacita the dialogue can stretch on for too long sometimes which can be a pace killer, but it doesn't ruin the quality of the stories it's trying to tell. From what people say I haven't even gotten to the best part of the game and I'm very excited! If I were to give a current rating, it would be a 8/10 and as long as you don't spend money on summons, I would recommend at least giving it a try.

Now that I'm 80 hours in and have completed Rinacita, I want to give my thoughts on Wuthering Waves as a whole, both from the perspective of a new player and as someone who hates the gacha monetization model. When I first started I was told that 1.0 (The first arc/region of the game) was mid. I disagree with that sentiment. While the first 7 or so hours were bogged down a bit by lore terms and exposition that often left me confused, around Yinlin's companion quest is when I started getting invested and upon reaching Mt. Firmament (10-15 hours?) I was locked in. What I WILL say, is that the first arc of the game is mid in COMPARISON to what the game offers and becomes later on in every single regard, writing, dialogue, gameplay, music, map/world design, everything. I was discussing the results to a patient with mold (mycotoxins) yesterday. She asked me if she could record it, presumably so that she didn’t forget anything I said and be able to review it later. Not uncommon, as a lot of the things that I discuss are complicated. Later in the day, she ends up posting this on her Instagram, tagging me in it. There’s things that need to be monitored, and adjustments need to be made. The test I’m discussing here is the most sensitive test for mold (mycotxoins) on the planet - it’s called MymycoLab. It doesn’t just measure exposure, but more importantly actually measures how much your immune system is fighting these mycotoxins, and whether they are recent or old. KIDS: One of the hardest things for talented players as they move up levels is to accept and excel in a role that may be a little bit lower in the lineup than what they’re used to. Every level you go up, there are more and more talented players and more often than not you’ll have to earn your way up the lineup. The best way to do that is to play your role to the best of your ability to build trust with the coach so that when time comes for changes in the lineup, they see your value and want to bump you up. Be the hardest worker, do the little things, and excel in the role you’ve been given. Tye Kartye was well over a point per game in the OHL. Three years ago he was the AHL rookie of the year. A few weeks ago he was a healthy scratch for Seattle. And this clip is what is going to earn him more ice time and a chance to have an impact. Check out the second, third, and fourth efforts he gives on this goal. Battles, gets knocked down, comes up with the puck, and then uses his skill and is rewarded with the assist. It’s easy for talented players to have a bad attitude when asked to play a role lower in the lineup. It’s obviously not good for the team, but it’s not good for the player either as they try to get out of it. A great attitude, an insatiable work ethic, and excelling in the role you’ve been given is what EARNS you more ice time and roles. Great job by Kartye!!

We got new Crimson Desert gameplay, showing off the combat, progression system and more of the world, and this game continues to look insane. Gear is upgradeable as well - Crafting/Upgrading is highly detailed, for example you can go and mine for certain materials in caves, you will also need to hunt animals or defeat bosses for certain materials as well - Crafting materials can be obtained through quests and in hidden locations as well - Add special effects to weapons and armors at certain vendors such as Wizards - There are flying bosses that you will have to fight in the skies such as flying metallic birds that you can land on Crimson Desert is launching on March 19th on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Mac. Kind of tough for McGrady because we as Kobe fans have really been on him for that comment. Rightfully so, but he really been a Kobe defender for a while now. He got caught in the crossfire of a bad comment about a legend he respects.. McGrady and Kobe and some great battles and as far as 2 guards there was a conversation of who was better at a time. That’s warranted because McGrady had one of the best scoring/ability peaks of all time. Bean was better offensively (2006 was the proof) and had more intangibles when it comes to winning and more defensive ability. Regardless T-Mac was a great player. Kobe was better. And I don’t think you can just plug and play T-Mac in the triangle with Shaq and they riddle off championships. McGrady prolly didn’t mean it this way, but when you say that you cheapen what Kobe did. Those are Kobe and Shaq’s rings. Let’s not try to put people in there and say they could have done the same thing when in reality it’s most likely not true.

Finally got a chance to play around with Andrej Karpathy's LLM Council. I built it as a plugin inside of Claude Code. Hooked it up with OpenRouter for models. The AskUserQuestion tool came in handy to select the council and chairman. This is my first test, but I agree with Karpathy that the concept of LLM ensembles can be used beyond models that offer perspectives on interesting questions. I feel like this could have really cool applications in agentic coding. More on that soon. I built this as a plugin, so next I will be exploring other user cases around agentic coding, like evaluation, tool building, designing, and research. If there is enough interest, I will clean it up and push it out as an open plugin.

Someone ran Claude Code on a beach where any device overheats and that spot suddenly turned out to be the best home for the most powerful AI in the world. This is the reMarkable Paper Pro. A paper tablet for notes with no browser and no social media and not a single app. He sat down right on the sand in the open sun and brought up Claude Code on Opus 4.6 over the Claude API on the paper screen and opened his project ~/repos/webs while the waves broke a few steps away. For years every device had the same trouble outside. In direct sun the screen glares and washes out and heats up and instead of your work you see your own reflection. But e-ink does not blast its own light into your face. It reflects the sunlight like the page of a book. And here is what came out of it. The very thing that kills any normal screen outside turned into fuel for this one. The brighter the sun the sharper the picture because it has nothing to glare with and nothing to wash out. And then comes the thing no laptop on a beach will give you. Your eyes do not get tired.
