UPDATE ON ODEтАУSAPADE ROAD PHASE 3 PROJECT We are pleased to inform our people that steady progress continues on the reconstruction of the OdeтАУSapade Road, which has now entered its final phase under our administration. From our latest assessment, binder-asphalt laying is moving smoothly from chainage 3+600 up to the Sapade Junction on both carriageways. On the other side of the corridor, our engineers are regrading and compacting the stone base in readiness for priming ahead of asphalt placement. We have successfully completed Phases One and Two of the project, covering Sagamu to Iperu, and both sections are already in full use by motorists. Phase Three, which is currently in full execution, includes the dualisation of the existing road, milling of the old asphalt, installation of essential highway furniture, and the wearing-course overlay from chainage 0+00 (Ode Remo) to kilometre 5+500 (Sapade). This phase also covers an additional 200-metre link connecting the Ibadan Expressway to the SapadeтАУOde corridor, bringing the entire stretch to a total of 5.5 kilometres. By GodтАЩs grace, we remain on course to complete and hand over this entire section before Christmas 2025. We deeply appreciate the patience and cooperation of residents and road users along the corridor, and we reaffirm that delivering durable, high-quality road infrastructure across Ogun State remains a top priority of our administration. #BuildingOurFutureTogether #InfrastructureDevelopment #DapoAbiodun

ЁЯЪМ тАЬWhy donтАЩt all IT employees use public transport?тАЭ Sounds like a simple question тАФ but the answer is anything but simple. HereтАЩs the reality: ЁЯЪП No covered bus stops in key areas тАУ waiting in harsh sun or heavy rain is not practical. ЁЯЪ╢тАНтЩВя╕П After getting off the bus, there are no proper footpaths тАУ you walk through mud, garbage, or broken roads. ЁЯЪж No safe pedestrian crossings тАУ crossing a road is a daily life risk. ЁЯПШя╕П Most residential complexes are far inside from main roads тАУ walking long, unsafe distances just to reach the bus stop isnтАЩt feasible. ЁЯСитАНЁЯСйтАНЁЯСз Many employees have to drop kids to school or pick up/drop spouses at other office locations тАУ multi-stop travel just doesnтАЩt work with public transport. тП▒я╕П Irregular shifts and late-night work also make buses an unsafe or unreliable option. ЁЯза So next time someone says тАЬIT people drive alone and cause trafficтАЭ тАФ tell them: weтАЩll happily use public transport if the system is ready for real-life needs. #LastMileMatters #EmployeesVoice #StrongerTogether #ITParkReality #Hinjawadi #FixTheBasicsFirst #LastMileProject #Metro #Footpaths #PuneInfra Link to Insta post - CMO Maharashtra PMRDA Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd collectorpuneofficial

The continued delay in opening the Yellow Line is causing immense hardship to the people of Bengaluru. Today, at a public meeting attended by hundreds of concerned citizens and public representatives, BMRCL officials stated that the line is тАЬhopefullyтАЭ expected to open by early August. However, they gave no firm commitment. This vague response comes after over ten missed deadlines in the past. On our repeated demand to release the Fare Fixation Committee Report, we were once again given the same templated reply: тАЬThe matter has been escalated to higher levels of government and will be considered soon.тАЭ This report, which directly affects commuters, must be made public immediately. Regarding the delay in Metro Phase 3 civil works, BMRCL cited challenges in securing international funding. Civil tenders, they claimed, may be floated by the end of this year. But there was no explanation for why expansion of Metro to Tumkur, outside the city, is being prioritised over urgently needed intra-city lines within Bengaluru. Equally concerning was the lack of any response on how the unscientific tunnel road project will compromise the viability of the new Phase 3 Metro line. Through todayтАЩs public meeting and protest, we have sent a clear message: The people are watching, and the government must be held accountable. The public will no longer tolerate delay, indifference, and inefficiency in matters as critical as urban mobility. It is the duty of every public representative to question the government and demand accountability and we will continue to do so, without compromise.

A Century on Track. The Orange Line is rising. MumbaiтАЩs Metro Line-12 тАУ Orange Line Extension, being built by MMRDA, achieved another major construction milestone with the successful launch of its 100th U-girder near Dombivli MIDC Metro Station on Shilphata Road. The 23.57-km fully elevated corridor with 19 stations will deliver seamless, eco-friendly connectivity between Kalyan, Dombivli, Taloja and the Navi Mumbai International Airport. With this milestone, the project enters a faster execution phase, paving the way for quicker, cleaner and eco-friendly mobility between Thane and Navi Mumbai, while driving transit-oriented development across the KalyanтАУTaloja belt. Running parallel to the KalyanтАУShilphataтАУTaloja corridor and integrating with the MSRDC Flyover for 7 km, the alignment will feature several engineering marvels including 100-metre clear spans near Kolegaon, critical Railway and ROB crossings, and high-rise station construction at 21тАУ23 metres. Seamless interchanges will link commuters to Metro Line-5 at Kalyan, Metro Line-14 at Hedutane, and Navi Mumbai Metro Line-1 at Amandoot, with direct FOB integration to Central Railway at Kalyan Junction. The project is targeted for completion by May 2028. Yesterday, H.E. John Dramani Mahama was in my beloved Ningo-Prampram Constituency - Afienya to be precise to cut sod for the start of his audacious US$10 billion Big Push Initiative. To be the first project warms my heart and speaks volumes of his unwavering commitment to our Constituency. In this first phase, 32 roads across the Country have been earmarked for completion within 24 months. I am delighted that 4 of 32 roads are in the Ningo-Prampram Constituency. The Tema Roundabout - Central University road, the Dawhenya - Afienya - Dodowa road, the Ashaiman Roundabout - Asikuma Junction road and the Afienya - Appolonia - Oyibi road have all been captured, awarded, and work is commencing. My joy is boundless. These roads have been a source of constant pain and worry during my first two terms serving as Member of Parliament, and despite my best efforts in 8 years under then President Nana Akufo-Addo, we had no joy nor glimmer of hope. However, these projects have come to light in barely 8 months of the Hope Giver, the Nation Builder, the Promise Keeper - John Dramani Mahama. On behalf of my Chiefs and people, I express my heartfelt gratitude to the President for keeping his word and promise from our final campaign rally at the Afienya bus terminal in October 2024. Even as I am on official assignment in the Orient, I am grateful to #TeamDzata, led by Chairman Issah Adamu Vanguard and my indefatigable DCE, Raphael Uriel Nartey, for holding the fort and giving the President a typical Dzata welcome. To my Brother and Colleague, kwame agbodza, thanks for everything. I really appreciate everything you have done and would continue to do. I'd be back for a few more roads. Abi, you know dadaa. Akpe sia, Norvi. My mother is indeed in the kitchen now! Let's go! ЁЯжБЁЯЗмЁЯЗн
