I hope mojang adds something like this natively in the future. LOD chunks just makes the world feel so much more alive

For all those wondering... For the mod to run smoothly you will need to let it generate the chunks for a while, you may experience lag during this time. You can alter these settings but it may make the generation take longer.

truly one of the best mods ever released. solved the biggest visual bottleneck of Minecraft (and pretty much any open world game). amazing developers

this shouldn't be a mod

Changed the whole game

How does this compare to voxy?

"What about do this 4096 Render Distance"

There's also a fork of it in 1.7.10

Doesn’t voxy just mog this?

RTX 99999990000 required $gl

sad that it's official release is immediately overshadowed by voyx

What’s performance like? Do you need a really good computer or is it simulated. Did you ever test in multiplayer?

Dang I gotta be sure to update when this drops

Does it work smoothly on my i9-11900 with 32GB of RAM and RTX 3070?

now we just need this for vintage story

256 render distance with shaders staying smooth is the part that actually matters.

Will this work with RLCraft? :) just put in the mod folder and go?

realizing i could do this now

@grok 为什么基岩版无法实现这个模组?

@grok can you link this to us

Is there something similar for Bedrock?

How do you get it running with shaders tho

Omg so pretty

honestly this is the first mod in years that makes me want to reinstall minecraft. 256 render distance with shaders is just showing off at this point

Now all minecraft needs is colossal mountains

Voxy still much better

I've recently woke up and thought it was a fortnite clip

does it finally work with complimentary shaders tho

sooo hypothetically how smooth would this run on a gaming laptop...

Which shaders tho
