What about changing the shapes of the boxes ? Although I don't know if that strays too much from the image recognition box "style" ig. Unrelated but I just noticed you can kick carts around I'm gonna spend hours doing that

Could do something like that, or change how the tag looks on it, colors seem to work fine for now, but I might experiment with that

Looks really neat and diegetic. I wonder how is sound gonna work? Is it gonna come from the crappy CCTV mic, with steps getting quieter the farther away the player character is from it?

Most sounds are going to be based on the perspective of the camera, but character sounds (like footsteps) are always heard for clarity.
