⚡️At least 306 regime forces killed and 49 captured as Fano destroys an entire regiment in Kiremu Woreda (📍East Wollega Zone, Oromia Region, Ethiopia) on June 19th. 🔵 The operation involved Fano units under the Yibeltal Mekonnen Addis-Alem Division (AFNM-ASC), which confronted a large-scale regime offensive launched from Addis-Alem Kebele and surrounding military bases toward Bajin Kebele. 🔴 Prior to the fighting, regime forces carried out indiscriminate heavy weapon shelling and drone surveillance operations in the area, resulting in civilian casualties and property destruction. 🔵 The main confrontation occurred in the Shohoro-Medhanealem locality on June 19th, where Fano forces launched a counter-offensive and overwhelmed regime units deployed in the area, leading to the complete destruction of the regime army's 3rd Regiment. 🔵 Preliminary reports indicate that at least 306 regime forces were killed and 49 others captured, including six senior military officers and 43 infantry soldiers. ⚡️ Over 140 regime forces killed and 86 wounded as Fano intercepts major military reinforcement push toward Sekota across Central Gonder (📍Amhara Region, Ethiopia). 🔵 Between October 1st–2nd, intense fighting erupted from Dinzaz Kebele in Gonder-Zuriya to Werahla Kebele in East Belessa after a large regime force drawn from Qwara, Humera, Metemma and Azezo attempted to advance eastward through the Belessa-Qualisa corridor toward Sekota City. Fano units from the Tiqur-Anbessa, Mebreq, Gondere-Begashaw, Nisir-Belessa and Tarqo Kebede Divisions (AFNM-BC) intercepted the advancing columns with coordinated ambushes. 🔵 During an ambush between Dinzaz and Degoma, four military transport trucks carrying regime troops plunged into a deep ravine under heavy fire. More than 140 regime personnel were reportedly killed and over 86 wounded, while two ZU-23 anti-aircraft guns and a military patrol vehicle were destroyed. 🔵 Fighting subsequently spread across Degoma, Sibina, Qurungo and Abraham Kebeles in West Belessa, where Fano targeted military convoys and destroyed multiple trucks carrying ammunition, weapons and other supplies. The military convoy was reportedly transporting property looted from Amhara communities in Mender Sost and Fendika Kebeles following regime attacks in which Amhara civilians were massacred and homes and other property across the two kebeles were burned down. Heavy fighting followed the offensive, with the Ansha Seyid Command claiming significant losses among the combined regime forces. During the fighting, Fano forces destroyed 13 convoy vehicles and captured an additional 2 patrol vehicles. Fano forces also claimed the capture of a significant quantity of weapons, including: ▪️70 Kalashnikov rifles, ▪️3 Bren light machine guns, ▪️And 2 sniper rifles with associated equipment. The Ansha Seyid Command also said its forces recovered millions of Ethiopian birr that it said had been looted from civilians.

According to reports from the ground, the operation resulted in the capture of the Debre Libanos Woreda administrative center in Oromia Region, as well as the towns of Set Debir and Wusha Gedel, following two consecutive days of fighting. Sources stated that the clashes involved regime forces supported by mortars and ZU-23 anti-aircraft guns. During the operation, local security officials and other personnel were reportedly wounded and evacuated to Fiche Hospital. The fighting reportedly expanded as far as Chagal town, with government forces retreating toward Fiche after suffering battlefield setbacks. The reported capture of the three towns places Fano forces in control of territory near Fiche, a strategic town located approximately 113 kilometers north of Addis Ababa, marking one of the closest reported advances toward the Ethiopian capital since the war in the Amhara Region began.

An initial group of at least 15 unarmed fighters crossed the Tekezze River before TPLF units opened fire in an attempt to prevent further defections. 🔵 Regime forces responded with heavy counter-battery artillery fire across the river, triggering an intense, hours-long engagement. The sustained fire support reportedly enabled more than 256 additional TPLF combatants to cross the river and surrender with their military equipment. 🔵 More than 43 TPLF fighters were reportedly killed or wounded during the fighting and artillery exchanges. Regime joint forces also sustained significant casualties, although precise figures remain undisclosed.
