For all you defending the teacher… come on… you don’t need to know that matrices don’t commute while you’re 7 years old. Furthermore is multiple paths to the same answer not one of the reasons math is so interesting? I’ve sat through entire lectures that just teach how many different ways you can approach a given problem.

These are all literally the same processes, just displayed differently. The calculations are exactly the same. The only difference is where you're writing each number.
