So I was trying the VRchat water physics thing again, I realized Poiyomi wasn't going to cut it for what I wanted to do. So, I actually managed to make my own shader using Amplify shader editor that did what I wanted it to do. To my surprise, it actually worked...

I've ported my vrchat isosurface ray tracer to shadertoy and added it to my fluid simulation there. Its probably the fastest multibounce ray tracing for liquids I've made thus far.

made my threejs "pixel screen" shader more generic. give it a 2D grid of pixels and it does the rest. so obviously, bad apple.

For my 3d simulation I needed to implement new rendering. To replace "sphere par particle" with marching cubes. I never implemented that kind of stuff, so I decided to first try a simplified 2d version, the marching squares. It worked, very fast rendering now.
