My five top tips for starting a carnivore diet 💪

My first tip would be salt. More than you think.

Even though I’ve lost 140 pounds, I still do struggle with sticking with it when there’s temptation around occasionally.

Also, avoid purchasing food items marketed by Big Food as "Keto Carnivore" because any food purchased that lists more than one or two ingredients should be avoided as a marketing scam.

If your carnivore per se 95-5% and you find yourself gaining weight slightly but nothing has changed where would you start looking as the cause? Increased fat intake? If you cheat on carnivore will the introduced carbs/sugar cause the body to start storing fat?

Meat. Salt. Water. Done. It really is that easy.

I've started carnivore a couple times in the past but living in a house with others that still have carbs/sugars laying around and have fallen off the wagon. I'd think like, I've been carnivore for weeks I can have chips this once (or pie, or bread, etc.) but if I eat carbs I instantly want more more more. As Lay's said "no one can eat just one". I recommend if possible getting rid of all carbs in the house, take away the easy temptation. I'm currently on week 6 of carnivore now but this time I've had to realize - set my mind to think - that carbs are poison - that I'm allergic to them. Like if I was allergic to shellfish and could die from eating them I wouldn't eat them "just this once". I couldn't eat them at all. Period. So getting my mindset right is a critical part of this. I'm doing good so far and feeling so much better. Allergy symptoms, headaches, asthma all substantially better, like 90% reduction. Brain fog lifted. Overall just feeling better.
