A man who says he was the person of interest being questioned in the kidnapping of Nancy Guthrie has been released. The man, who only wants to be identified as Carlos, said he was detained after a traffic stop. Carlos said he was shocked when he was pulled over and didn't know who Guthrie is. "I'm innocent," he said, adding that he hopes the suspect is found soon so his name could be cleared. Authorities haven't confirmed that Carlos was the person of interest or that the person of interest has been released. This man was selling his house, when he and a friend went to check in on it, they walked in and found a man and a woman there living in it. He immediately told them he was the owner. The man hurried up and got his stuff and started walking out. The woman however was argumentative and said no she’s the owner, she just purchased the house. She kept playing it up as maybe there was a mistake made and that they both bought the same house. They find the for sale signs in the back years that she removed. This is where she backtracks and claims she took them out because she was interested in purchasing the house, even though earlier she said she already bought the house. Did he just luck out and catch people in the process of squatting or do you think this woman could have serious mental illnesses and honestly believes this is hers?

Nancy Guthrie There is no doubt there is tension between the FBI and and the Pima County Sheriff's office concerning Nancy's investigation, but typically these issues are at the higher levels. The boots on the ground LEOs usually get along well. The sheriff was under serious federal scrutiny for 5 years regarding misappropriation of funds. He was never charged, but there was no love lost. Now he is using other labs besides Quantico (the best of the best) to test a glove found inside the house and reportedly keeping the FBI at bay in terms of some evidence. I have seen this many a time. They better get it together. The sandlot is big enough for both. Pima County has venue. The FBI has resources and expertise. #NancyGuthrie

Nancy Guthrie As suspected (different shoes and shirt and no gun or backpack), no matter what Sheriff Nanos said, this Family statement points to Porch Guy doing a trial run on January 11th before he abducted Nancy. (Moon waning crescent on 1/11 and on 2/1 full) This tells us how committed Porch Guy was. Such a risky move. If he would have been seen on the 11th, maybe Nancy would have never been taken. He knew what was at stake and he didn't care. He may be dumb, but there is no doubt he was lucky. The FBI said the person of interest from Nancy's porch was about 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10 with an average build and did not specify an ethnicity.
