The first note had details only the abductor could know Nancy's home was isolated and specifically targeted Nancy was a soft target and an easy route (less health issues) to be used to barter for Bitcoin from the Guthrie family. The Mope was a fool and could not keep Nancy alive long enough to get the money. Then, he faded into obscurity (wise). He dumped the body likely close and is glued to the coverage. A Wrench Attack by Proxy or a garden variety kidnapping by someone who loosely knew Nancy and lived in Tucson and targeted her for bitcoin. That's the reason for this horrible crime. Nancy Guthrie With Porch Guy apparently surveilling and planning his attack since at least January 11, what does that tell the FBI? *Definitely targeted. But was his target chosen because of information from someone who knew Nancy and her house, or did they get onto Nancy through Savannah? I think it was a combination. *This was no Mutt and Jeff operation. Porch Guy was no bungling idiot. Not a firearms expert, but no banger. Bangers and Cartel guys don't carry holsters. Today on the House Floor, I took a moment to honor the life of my friend, former Vice Mayor Nancy Metayer. Nancy was taken from us far too soon. As the first Haitian American elected to the Coral Springs Commission, she made history, but that alone does not capture who she was. Nancy was one of the nicest people in the process who advocated for everyone. Nancy had hoped to serve in this body, but she was tragically taken from us one day before she was set to announce her run. It was an honor to talk about her on the House Floor today.

On November 5, 2025, NBC had their lineup on the "TODAY" show do a new "homecoming" series where they showed where all their co-hosts are from. The first person to be featured was Savannah Guthrie Guthrie took viewers to Tucson, Arizona and disclosed that her mother, Nancy, still lived there and had her on for part of the segment. She appears on camera 5:20-6:30. There is speculation that that segment could have made her mother a target for whoever kidnapped her. Obviously this is a tragic situation. Nancy Guthrie If you are following this story, you may want to watch the whole "Savannah goes Home" segment. (Linked below) With her family ruled out as suspects, who is in? I believe someone from Tuscon who crossed paths with Savannah is likely. I believe BAU has drawn up a profile of the abductor and is fasioning words to appeal to him based on the abductor's profile. Is it someone angry, like Bryan Kohberger was angry but not angry because he was a sadistic Loser, serial killer in making, but rather is Porch Guy angry because he feels slighted and wants Savannah to pay. Is this why Savannah is doing the pleas solo? Because they believe she is the target? This abduction never was about ransom money. With the family ruled out, we know the motive was not life insurance/ inheritance. We are down to the motive being far more twisted. We know about the "Talk to her and you will see" reference. What about, "It's never too late. You are not lost or alone." Does BAU believe this is a loner and a messed up type of individual, deeply unhappy with who he is and deeply jealous of Savannah? Someone capable of extreme violence, but hurting inside? I think we will be shocked at what we will come to know. What happened in that house between Porch Guy and Nancy for up to 41 minutes? Was the DNA found inside blood, hair, semen, sweat or touch? The motive of the ransom notes seems to be torturing Savannah as does the motive in the abduction. Could they be connected in this way?

Speculation that one photo of Porch Guy could be from 1/11 but not confirmed (Derived from Google) This still points to either: 1-A kidnap for ransom, Nancy died so no ransom sought. 2-A crazy, obsessed person who is disgruntled concerning Savannah or Nancy & so they took Nancy & killed her for retribution of being "wronged". No Doubt the ransom notes were believed valid for a time by the FBI (See below), but through investigation, they proved they did not come from the kidnapper(s) if we believe Reuter's sources. What did the family and LE see that has caused them to take this ransom demand so seriously. The FBI should be able to tell of the a voice or image was manipulated. It is clear, they are unsure. Savannah said, "Talk to her and you will see." Clearly they believe she could be alive and in the hands of her abductors. Savannah said they are ready to talk. I have been involved in 3 kidnapping cases in 28 years. The demands came right away, not after 3 days. This note was fashioned by BAU, no doubt. Try to establish some empathy for the hostage. Open lines of communications. Indicate you are ready to negotiate. All of that was done. It still makes no sense that after 3 days and after LE is so involved that a ransom demand would come now. Normally, contact would have been made with the family right after the abduction and before LE was contacted. This case is rubbing against my experience and does not meet with other kidnapping cases I was involved with or studied. Again, if this is a hoax, it is the cruelest hoax I have seen.
