Nancy Guthrie What does the source information from the ransom notes tell us: Her death was an accident...This is really an epiphany if accurate because it supports the premise we have all talked about: A kidnap for ransom and the plot failed due to her unexpected death. Even if... no apology, as this source says, why even say she died by accident if you are the abductor? This is showing a familiarity and empathy for the family which is making me rethink the scenario. No need to give this kind of detail and implied, oops/sorry. (Now I see how other leakers said there was an apology. It is sort of implied) The urgency of finding Nancy quickly dissipated from the case. We all saw that after the ransom notes came in. It would seem LE believed she was dead early. Still makes 0 sense to discontinue the search for her, IMV. Her body would yield important clues. We see the direct correlation of the information in the notes and the family's response. Nancy Guthrie LE said they know the motive for the abduction of Nancy and they have known it from the beginning. Abduction 2/1 Ransom note to local media 2/2 Ransom note to TMZ 2/3 Kidnapping for Ransom. Nancy sadly died. The kidnappers didn't care and tortured the family with 2 notes knowing the FBI would not recommend paying a ransom without proof of life. What did the family and LE see that has caused them to take this ransom demand so seriously. The FBI should be able to tell of the a voice or image was manipulated. It is clear, they are unsure. Savannah said, "Talk to her and you will see." Clearly they believe she could be alive and in the hands of her abductors. Savannah said they are ready to talk. I have been involved in 3 kidnapping cases in 28 years. The demands came right away, not after 3 days. This note was fashioned by BAU, no doubt. Try to establish some empathy for the hostage. Open lines of communications. Indicate you are ready to negotiate. All of that was done. It still makes no sense that after 3 days and after LE is so involved that a ransom demand would come now. Normally, contact would have been made with the family right after the abduction and before LE was contacted. This case is rubbing against my experience and does not meet with other kidnapping cases I was involved with or studied. Again, if this is a hoax, it is the cruelest hoax I have seen. The ransom notes: Nancy Guthrie These notes aren't about money. These notes are about the slow psychological torture of the Savannah Guthrie & her family. LE is taking them seriously because they described a broken flood light, the location of Nancy's watch and gave deadlines. They have to run this lead to ground and arrest the sender(s). The sender(s) interest is not money, it's the very public torture of Nancy's loved ones. If they wanted money, they would have contacted the family right after the abduction and made it easy to get a reasonable amount of money to them. We are on Day 7... #NancyGuthrie

It is a letter saying that the person who wrote it knows the identity of the kidnapper, and for the price of one bitcoin, that person will disclose the information. (I see this as washing their hands of responsibility for the case) Meanwhile, Sheriff Nanos says he can't comment about the ransom notes because the FBI is in charge of them. Reuters, seems like your reporting may have been off-base. Likely, the "source" was speaking of the TMZ 12 extortion notes. Anyway, back to square one. Per the FBI courtesy of Tucson Station KOLD: “The FBI and its task force partners have received several ransom notes over the course of this investigation. Some have been deemed to be extortion attempts without legitimacy. Other ransom demands may potentially be legitimate and are still being investigated as such. This case continues to be investigated as a kidnapping for ransom case. The FBI has and will continue to offer all assistance possible in the investigation - however local authorities remain the lead.” P.S. A few years ago Jessi asked me if I would be interested in being her next co-host for the Bardown Beauties Podcast. People have always asked me how that came to be and this is how. I knew of Jessi when I started working with the Wild, and interacted with her initially when I was a guest on the podcast and then she and Alexis were guests on the show I hosted for the Wild at the time. But, the first summer I spent working for DaBeauty League was where I went from knowing Jessi as a professional and got to know Jessi on an incredibly personal level. This was the stuff we did that summer. We talked about life, we had fun, and she signed herself up to get some of her hair shaved off. This is one of the videos I’ve watched over and over these last few days because this is where it really all started and I’m forever grateful for it.
