🚨NEW: Joe Rogan almost has a panic attack when longevity scientist David Sinclair exposes that GLP-1 drugs are making people go blind: ROGAN: “We just started taking these. What the f*ck are you saying?” SINCLAIR: “Yeah, it’s not risk-free.” ROGAN: “So what exactly happens to your vision?” SINCLAIR: “It’s... show more

YEP! I worked with a guy who was taking it for diabetes and he had a stroke and lost vision in one eye. Of course his doctors said it had nothing to do with the meds. 🙄

this is not true. This equates to 1 case every 10,000 human hours and is related to rapid weight loss and rapid blood sugar drops. And is only effecting older diabetics. The effect can be completely mitigated by proper dose titration. It’s not a toxic effect of the drug itself. Tests on non-diabetic populations show no increase in “sudden blindness”.

Wha t about stomach paralysis? I've seen this mentioned for the GPL1.

I'm old enough to remember when doctors were trying to get everyone on statins. It was a miracle drug. Now, statins are known to cause a host of serious health problems. Anything that sounds too good to be true almost always is.

Right on about GLP drugs. My concern as a licensed physician who specializes in weight loss is managing the risks associated with drug induced decisions that ARE and do cause injury. Not side effects but permanent injuries. No amount of exogenous GLP is safe due to the changes that occur when you “soak” the body for weeks, months and now years with a naturally occurring hormone the body makes on its own to curb appetite that should work for 20 minutes and be absorbed and removed naturally. The danger with GLP drugs are they have figured out how to extend the circulating GLP for up to one week creating the appetite suppression almost indefinitely. This is why you have a weekly injection. Now with Fundayo the GLP pill your dosage and frequency is to sustain creating a constant drag and suppression to the GI tract which is your interface with food, nutrients, removal of toxins, maintains healthy Gut bacteria etc. we just had a patient come in for laser assisted weight loss who was 73 yrs old and had lost 60 lbs in less than a year on Monjarno a GLP injectable. Upon examination she was feeble, eyes sunken into her face, calve muscles gone, gluteal muscle gone ie no ass at all and an abdominal pannicula that was measured at 45” circumference hanging just above her thighs with mostly fluid and fat like having two huge watermelons suspended from straps around your shoulders. No abdominal muscle tone at all. Pressure on her bladder etc. during consultation i asked why the doctor prescribed the GLP she said it was to lower her a1c from 6,2 to 5.- approximately. Fasting and being mindful of calorie choices with some coaching wouldve lowered her glucose absolutely. Instead they basically sold her on a drug that is common but not of and not safe. A crimecagainst humanity very similar to what this clown Sinclair is developing and shilling now.

Total lie these drugs have been around over a decade

Sinclair is suspect. Also those people that went blind already had diabetes and diabetic neuropathy in their eyes.

@grok who are the people taking glp1 drugs that become blind from using them? Does it just randomly happen to anyone using a glp1 drug or does it happen to people who have some kind of pre-existing condition or disease?

Sinclair is not trustworthy in the slightest. Look at what he tried to do with NMN, hes a greedy schmuck.

I’m not convinced this makes GLP-1’s not worth taking. The overall mortality risk reduction is over 10%, right. So what if it increases my risk of blindness from 0.1% or something of that order of magnitude to double that? Dead people can’t see either.

No one who knows anything about medical science would say GLP1s are risk free— all drugs have risk What’s more dangerous than GLP1s? Longterm obesity that’s not addressed because even Rogan knows chronic inflammation is a recipe for disaster

Yep, I know someone who lost her gall bladder the first year on it, then started having vision problems the 2nd year. It was serious enough that she quit.

Its not as cut and dry as the guy makes it sound. There's co factors that can cause this problem that those taking a GLP1 for type 2 diabetes have. Correlation isn't causation. Any medication that has the potential to reduce income for medical and diet industry is a target.

The photo 😂

Gila Monster Venom is GLP1 look it up. Causes you stomach to not be able to process food you eat leaving you full longer, they say that over time it will unalive you, do some reading and reasearch on the subject.

Per Consensus: "GLP-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RAs) are associated with a significantly reduced risk of legal blindness in patients with type 2 diabetes, though evidence on specific sight-threatening conditions like ischemic optic neuropathy remains mixed" "GLP-1 RA use is associated with a 33–41% reduction in legal blindness risk in T2DM patients with cardiovascular risk factors, with hazard ratios of 0.59–0.67 across 1–5 year follow-up"

He did say it has helped thousands but there are a cost to everything

My father in law takes Ozempic bc he’s on it for diabetes not weight loss and he’s had temporary vision loss twice!!

Yea I mean 1 in 10,000 people is not great but it’s not insane if you are struggling to lose weight better to take a chance with the blindness then the coronary artery disease and diabetes…. Maybe

When you inject lizard venom in your body every week, go figure, it might make you blind or retarded. These system trusting goons…

GLP1s are totally unnecessary anyway. If you're obese, it's likely due to excess sugar in your diet. Anyone can lose pounds of fat per week, simply by tracking your sugar intake & drastically lowering it . If you add exercise, that's even better. Obviously.

Big Rogan listener, but did that mfer just say he's a big believer in glp1 drugs...

Cancer?

Wouldn’t be shocked to hear that in 10 years either.

Sinclair is a charlatan and shouldn't ever be given an audience, anywhere, for any reason.

GLP-1’s have been around for decades, far longer than just the recent craze.

This is what happened to @DanCrenshawTX

@peptidepirate what’s your thoughts on this

Pretty easy to assume that any hate for ozempic is from one of the 4 companies that own our food. They are pissed people aren’t addicted to their poison anymore. Right now there are people in a board room figuring out how to make the food more addictive.

Sinclair left out the fact thst it’s only diabetics.

Hilarious, talks about the extreme dangers of blindness from this drug, then promotes it at the end.

It's about Ozempic, not tirz & reta

This is what happens when you make a drug from a reptile that has venom which makes you blind. What are people not understanding?

Needs more double blind, placebo controlled studies to confirm

• GLP-1/NAION meta-analysis: >1.5M patients • Relative increase: 70% • Absolute risk: 0.09% • Excess risk: 0.037% • ≈ 3.7 extra cases per 10,000 • NNH: ≈ 1 in 2,700 And tirzepatide? A 2026 study found 55% LOWER NAION hazard vs other GLP-1 drugs.
