This is one of the greatest feelings a hitter will ever experience… and most players never learn it. This drill has nothing to do with mechanics. It has everything to do with execution. The pitcher mixes fastballs and slow balls. Your only two rules: ⚾ Slow pitch or spin? Don’t roll it over. ⚾ Fastball? Don’t pull it. Now you’re forced to recognize speed instead of guessing. You’re training your eyes, your timing, and your approach—not just your swing. This is one of my favorite two-strike drills because it teaches hitters to trust what they see instead of committing too early. A great swing is important. Knowing when to use it is what separates hitters. Train with an expert, not an influencer.

This is the thing that drives me absolutely insane with Xander during his tenure with the Padres. He earns a 2-0 hitters count, gets an ideal pitch to drive but somehow is in between swinging and not swinging. He then gets a similar pitch the very next pitch but fouls it off. As a veteran I just don’t understand how he is not capitalizing in these favorable situations.

My brother has a non-traditional golf swing, but he just makes it work. Today he hit multiple 270+ yard drives. Had 3-4 solid birdie putts but made zero of them. I beat him pretty good, yet suffered from some serious hooks and duck hooks. Couldn’t break 80 today:(

$After Billy Gunn recently mentioned on ‘Fuel & Flex’ that he has stress fractures in his back, his team reached out to clarify that it’s a “very old injury”, and the reason he’s absent from TV is due to not being booked by AEW creative: “Billy is fine, this is a very old injury that he has dealt with for years. It does not interfere with wrestling or training. It just gets sore if he trains too heavy or hard. Attached is a video today showing everyone he Is ok. Because of the internet, our phones have been blowing up asking if his back is hurt. His absence from AEW is due to him not being booked by creative.”$

Just had my first FSD 14 Lite experience and it was flawless. 100% FSD from my driveway to the gym and parked centered in a parking stall. Drove home beautifully but did not back in my driveway. I’m sure it will soon. 12.6.4 always prepared to back in but stopped. This is going to be fun.
