#JonBenetRamsey case update ⬇️ Netflix has released “Cold Case: Who Killed JonBenét Ramsey,” a three-part docuseries exploring the haunting 28-year-old mystery. This week I spoke one on one with her father John Ramsey while guest hosting Banfield - we discussed the frustrating journey to justice and why the Colorado Police Department has not invited independent investigative genetic genealogy labs to help solve the case … yet. I asked John Ramsey about his recent conversations with a new investigator about why they haven’t taken up ’s offer to help. He said “Well, we did. And basically what he said, Okay, look, there's some things happening that I can't tell you about, and don't think DNA technology is there yet. I totally disagree with that. I met the founders of Othram Labs, which is one of the cutting edge labs out there that'd be happy to help. I sent a letter to the chief based on my meeting with what I learned with Othram they said A) they don't destroy any DNA when they do testing on it anymore, which was one of the concerns. B) they have the ability to separate DNA, mixed DNA samples, which is one of the issues with the sample they got in 1997 they had an unidentified male DNA sample in early 1997 it was mixed, apparently, with the blood DNA that can, now technology wise, be separated. That's huge. And the third thing, they have the ability to do familial genealogy research, which has been wildly successful in solving Old, old cold cases. That's what we're asking the police to do. Go to one of these cutting edge labs, let them do new testing, and they need a new DNA sample. We have a DNA sample which was obtained in January 1997 of an unidentified male DNA. It's not in the format needed to do this familial genealogy research to be a new command, and that's why we need to do more testing. EXCLUSIVE: Scene of Nancy Guthrie private lab testing. I’m outside DNA Labs International where the DNA Testing of evidence is happening right now. I traveled to Deerfield Beach, Florida where lab technicians have been testing critical evidence in the investigation — including the glove found nearly 2 miles from her home. We’ve heard a lot about the discrepancies of sending this type of DNA evidence to a private lab versus a lab used by the FBI, but the Pima County Sheriff, Chris Nanos, says this is their protocol, and a lab that they have used for years. There are only a limited number of private accredited DNA labs in the country capable of this level of forensic work. If possible, DNA Labs International will develop a DNA profile from the glove. According to independent DNA consultant Suzanna Ryan of Ryan Forensic, which is not connected to this case but can speak about how this all works, once a profile is developed it will most likely be sent to the Arizona Department of Public Safety. That’s where the quality control process begins: •A qualified DNA analyst or CODIS administrator verifies the data •The profile must meet strict standards before upload •Once approved, it is electronically transmitted through state systems to the Federal Bureau of Investigation •All systems work together within the national DNA database network CODIS This extra verification step can take time — but it’s critical to ensure the data is admissible and accurate. In this exclusive video, I take you to the scene of where this testing is being done. Because the lab sits on private property, we were asked to leave by property management — but this is where the forensic work is happening. Three Men Jailed In Coventry After Police Discover Shotguns & Handguns In Parked Car. Dramatic bodycam footage has captured the moment armed officers stormed a Coventry address and ordered a young suspect to surrender, only for him to brazenly throw a bag of cocaine out of his bedroom window seconds before being cuffed. Tyreece Barnett-Leslie, just 18, of Crediton Close, was one of three men jailed after West Midlands Police recovered a chilling cache of two shotguns and two handguns, complete with ammunition, hidden inside a Vauxhall Corsa parked on a driveway in Wappenbury Road, Wood End, on 11 November 2025. The vehicle was parked outside a property linked to Kai Williams, 27. Officers raided the address the next day and discovered the car key was in a bedroom drawer, alongside cocaine, scales and a collection of burner phones. Forensic scientists later found Williams DNA on one of the handguns and one of the shotguns, and his fingerprints were discovered on the bag the weapons were stored in. Further DNA analysis on the firearms linked two more suspects: Junior Dube, 23, of Purcell Road, and teenager Barnett-Leslie. When officers examined Barnett-Leslie’s phone they uncovered a series of Snapchat messages from Dube containing multiple photos of guns, including clear images of the recovered shotgun and the handgun that carried both men’s DNA. At Warwick Crown Court Kai Williams, 27, admitted possession of a handgun, a sawn-off shotgun and possession of cocaine with intent to supply and was jailed for seven years and 11 months. Junior Dube, 23, admitted possession of a sawn-off shotgun and a handgun and received five years and one month. Tyreece Barnett-Leslie, 18, admitted possession of a handgun, criminal cash and possession of cocaine with intent to supply and was sentenced to four years. Detective Chief Inspector Amar Patel of West Midlands Police said: "It was a significant recovery of four deadly weapons, which were no doubt being used to spread fear and violence in the West Midlands. Great forensic and investigative work has meant that they have now been taken off the streets, and three criminals put behind bars for many years." #UKNews #CrimeNews #WestMidlands #Coventry

Today I was in court because the Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) sought a restraining order against me. My "threat" was peacefully protesting and demanding answers. I asked a simple question: Where is the forensic audit? Chicago taxpayers continue to pay more in property taxes, and CPS continues to receive significant funding, yet far too many of our children are still not proficient in reading, math, and writing. Parents and taxpayers deserve transparency, accountability, and honest answers about why our educational system continues to fail so many students. I will never stop speaking up for taxpayers, parents, and the citizens of Chicago. If they can silence one citizen for asking questions, they can silence all of us. I refuse to let that happen. As Mayor, I will implement a comprehensive education platform focused on transparency, accountability, and results. My administration will conduct independent forensic audits of CPS finances, ensure every dollar is spent effectively in the classroom, and hold leadership accountable for student outcomes. We will implement school choice. I will prioritize early literacy, expand access to high-quality tutoring and after-school programs, support and retain excellent teachers, and ensure safe, well-resourced schools in every neighborhood. We will also strengthen partnerships with parents and communities, because education works best when families are empowered and informed. My goal is simple, every child in Chicago will have the tools, support, and opportunity to succeed.
