Not every student learns the same, and now Oklahoma parents have the opportunity to send their child to a school that best fits their needs— because we know that God gave kids to parents, not the government.

Hey Stitt! YOU ARE the government. Get your religious extremism off my kids and out of our legislation.

Kinda Sucks when God gives kids to poor parents who can’t afford make up the cost diff, huh Kev? Oh wait. This is just a coupon for the wealthy. Duh. Btw, since parents own their kids and all, why do you advocate laws dictating what medical decisions they can make?

Unless your kids are on an IEP or are special needs…I guess god preordained those kids get public school since your private schools won’t admit them

1) Not all students are in the custody of their parent(s). 2) Tax credits for private schools are not accessible for all Oklahomans. 3) Tax credit requires relinquishment of IDEA protections, so clearly not “all” students.

But the government is charged to have a public school system in place, in a country that values the separation of church and state. This isn’t about the students, this is about more benefits for your donors and yourself. @RyanWaltersSupt shouldn’t be in charge of a goldfish.

I paid tax dollars to provide a public education. If parents don't want that they are free to do whatever they want but I shouldn't have to pay again.

Explain to me how diverting money from public education to subsidize rich people sending their kids to private schools helps improve public education. Please.

The seperation of church and state does not allow payment to religious schools.

God’s sending those new kids to the WAITING LIST! Amirite @GovStitt? 😃#oklaed #okleg #SchoolChoice

WTF. There is so much wrong with this tweet. I can’t even!
