For our children. There are many ways to resist the tyranny we are facing, and it starts with one simple principle, stop feeding the beast system. Stop giving your money, your energy, your attention, and your consent to institutions that do not serve you. Buy less from the big chains and supermarkets. Support local farmers, growers, and independent businesses instead. Better still, start growing some of your own food, even if it is only a little. Look after your health. Move your body. Exercise. Eat properly. Do not hand yourself over to a system that profits from sickness. Be cautious about what you put into your body, whether that is medication, vaccines, alcohol, recreational drugs, or vaping. Take responsibility for your wellbeing. Guard your mind too. Stop consuming mindless television, propaganda, and the endless stream of distractions designed to keep you passive, fearful, and compliant. Strengthen your home. Build your family. Nurture real relationships. Make your family unit strong, grounded, and resilient, because strong families are far harder to control than isolated individuals. Stop looking for saviours. And when were you going to stop and do what makes you happy?” Look, we all have bills to pay. We do what we have to do to make ends meet and put food on the table. Providing is something to be proud of, but… Don’t sacrifice your dreams along the way. Don’t wake up at 50 (or 60) and realize you’re no closer to your best life than when you started. 👉 Treat your job as a means, not an end. Slowly—over years and decades—gain more control. Become the person you are on vacation. That’s the real you. Now you’ve got a life you don’t need to escape. (P.S. I’m not talking about living a life of leisure. Humans need work and skin in the game. The goal isn’t to retire—it’s to choose your work and do it on your terms. That’s as good as it gets.)

But I’m not saying you always have to be okay. When you’re not feeling okay, when you’re feeling down, and when you’re overwhelmed, just know ‘ah that’s how I feel right now’ and just get to know what it is you want. I know it won’t be easy, but it’s all about the process, everyone. It’s not easy for me either. But I can’t give up on myself that way either, you know?

Behind the ball is how you get depth AND length out front. (Not one or the other) Here’s what it actually gives you: 1. You swing more connected and deeper. 2. The barrel enters earlier and stays in longer. You get both. 3. Depth behind what buys you length out front. Most guys are picking one or the other. 4. You sling the barrel through. You’re not shoving it or yanking it into the zone. 5. You actually use the ground. Behind the ball you turn. If you’re not using the ground, you’re probably sliding and pulling everything towards the ball. 6. Your bat speed becomes usable. Pushed and pulled bat speed still reads fast vs one pitch one speed. Only one of them shows up on the barrel, in the zone, on time vs pitching. — Cue for your next round: let the ball get deeper than usual, and turn behind a wall. You can scoot close to a net in front of you to get the feeling, too.
