FOX: American cities reject Flock cameras due to privacy concerns ----- Glenn does a great job explaining the ins and outs of Flock cameras. He cites that they are unconstitutional, talks about the number of Flock cameras errors and says it is a mass surveillance system. He also asks what would Fauci have done during the lockdowns with Flock cameras? Flock cameras are an upgrade to the governments "lockdown system" and the they will try to use them again for lockdown 2.0. I think Glenn makes a misstep when he says the cameras must be used constitutionally. There is no way to use them constitutionally - they record without a warrant by default. The only way these tools can conform to the constitution is to remove them and not use them. Lastly, FOX repeats the lie that Flock cameras data is deleted in 30 days. Flock contractually obligates clients keep cameras live and recording and has even turned them back on in municipalities that have tried to shut them down. Flock wants the data above all else and that implies they are keeping the data permanently and selling the data illegally.

Flock cameras have been out up in the Richland Wildlife Management Area in Florida The location of the flock cameras are in “miles and miles of Florida wilderness with no neighborhoods or shopping centers, subdivisions or traffic lights around — Why are there surveillance cameras here? Why are there license plate readers sitting at the crossroads of a wildlife management area? Who are they watching? The hunters? People exercising their Second Amendment rights? Today, I am urging our Commission to prohibit the use of Flock cameras and similar devices in our County. For those of you who don't know, these cameras, technically called Automated License Plate Readers, are motion activated and take a picture of every car which passes by. While License Plate Readers have been around for a while, because of AI and vastly increased networking and data retention capacities, these Flock cameras have capabilities not even imagined in the past. Older cameras only took a photo of your license plate, which was then retained for a short time. Flock cameras take a photo of your place, but also use AI to catalogue distinguishing features of your vehicle: make, color, model, even bumper stickers. That data is stored in a searchable database for sometimes up to a month or more, depending on the policies of that particular agency. When these cameras are deployed in large numbers, they create a network that can be used to track your movements. Currently, there is no federal regulatory framework governing these devices in place, and the Tennessee laws regulating them were written over a decade ago. My fear is that may be inadvertantly creating a warrantless mass surveillance system and undermining the privacy and Liberty of our people. So I urge the Tennessee General Assembly and the United States Congress to look at this issue and take neccessary action to safeguard our privacy and civil liberties as these new technologies continue to emerge. However, half of all states don't have any laws on the books related to license plate readers” It’s time to just outright ban Flock cameras nationwide No one consents to always being under mass surveillance. The issue is how easily it would be to insanely abuse this camera network if you get a tyrannical government in power Also the issue of expanding on these cameras, it will be very easily to keep growing this network, put them everywhere and become a mass surveillance state
