BREAKING: A break-in in Ajax has led to the death of a man. Police have not released details on the break in or the suspects. Here’s a few things Canadians can do right away to protect themselves: 1) get door stoppers that reinforce your door frame so your door can’t be easily kicked in. 2) get 12 or 14 mil Durafilm. That protects glass which criminals smash with hammers or bricks to get inside homes quickly and easily. It also gives police time to get to your home. And yes, the police have recommended this. 3) get your PAL. No questions. Get it. Start protecting yourselves. Cameras won’t cut it. AI won’t prevent it.

KIDS: We're seeing more and more short side shelf goals - and it's no accident. The way a lot of goalie are playing when the puck is at a bad angle near the goal line is they get on a knee with the "RVH". This leaves space above their nearside shoulder. Two great examples of players exploiting it here and scoring goals!

Is the Spawn System in ARC Raiders flawed? I would say yes, yes it is! Especially on Stella Montis you often dont have a second to breathe, you just cant recover. If you play Solos on this Map, you constantly get rushed by people running towards the shots, that spawn like 1-2 hallways away from you. Even in Teams with 2/3 covering you cant even loot your kills without getting overrun. Time to get a Shield Recharger or a Bandage? Nah, not really. While i agree that 3rd Party-Engagements should always be a threat, you should be able to shoot without people coming towards you like moths to the bright light, because they spawned right next to you. On other Maps it also feels kinda weird having people spawning in your back or in your close vincinity, if you just cleared the area. There should be some system in place, that checks if there are players nearby and if there are, dont spawn the people there. Just put them on the spawns that the furthest away from everyone being there since the start. I sometimes got the feeling it was weird, but Stella Mortis really showed where the problem with the spawning is in my opinion. What do you think, Raiders? (Clip from summit1g 's Stream)

If you’re not a Canadian citizen and you’re tied to extortion, shootings, or organized violence, you don’t get sympathy, excuses, or endless hearings. You get detained, charged, and DEPORTED. Full stop. The moment homes were being shot at, there should have been calls to Ottawa demanding federal action. Planes, not press releases. Removal, not rhetoric. You don’t get to terrorize Canadian families, post it online, then claim you’re the victim because life is dangerous “back home.” You made it dangerous here. Canada is not a hideout for foreign criminal networks. Refugee laws are not a shield for gangsters. Public safety comes before process games. If you come here and bring violence with you, you should be on a plane out — fast. This is simply common sense.

If we don’t get Senua, I’m going to be seriously disappointed. Seeing Senua makes me wish Ninja Theory had leaned more into this direction with Hellblade II instead of focusing so heavily on the cinematic, interactive-movie approach. I honestly think it would have resonated with a lot more players. I'd love to see Ninja Theory get the chance to prove themselves with Senua. If the rumors about the studio are true, closing it would be a huge mistake.

OFFICIAL: Origins Robot Endgame Boss Fight Around 10-15 minutes into the match, you'll get a notification that either the Z-Rex or Colossus is spawning. For the Colossus, you have to first kill a certain amount of enemies around a portal before it will spawn. Once the Colossus has spawned, you have to shoot either one of its feet until it breaks. Let it step on you and you'll go into it just like in Origins. While in the core, there'll be a plate that glows and pulsates when you stand on it. After awhile, it'll shoot out a pulse that will turn on several red lights around the core. You have to shoot them all in a extremely small time frame. If done right, the cores shield will turn off and you can damage it. This needs to be repeated again for a total of two times. Afterwards, you'll get an exotic skill and have the opportunity to either leave the robot or exfil. If you exfil, you get sent to a special room and get a special exfil and game over cutscene.

One of the toughest parts of being a founder is putting your ideas into the world, seeing if anyone cares (usually they don't - or worse, are rooting against you), and then seeing if you can actually pull it off (usually way more setbacks along the way than you thought!). You have to: (1) develop thick skin and find a way to ignore the haters (2) still take advice from people who have your best interests at heart (3) have the wisdom to know the difference Then move from one setback to the next with no loss of enthusiasm for longer than you thought. Be borderline delusional, get after it every day for a decade, and turn out to be right. Finally, when your tenth or hundredth approach to a problem doesn't work, just keep coming up with more ideas. Had a great day at Base Batches yesterday, meeting founders building on Base and hearing about the latest onchain innovations. Shout out to all the founders!

Seeing so much discourse around people in non acting fields taking up acting roles and remembered #JIN’s excellent view on it DESPITE him being an acting major. “Whether it be acting or cooking, I think there are experts on that. I'm not sure if it's okay for me to just get into that easily. I have that thought in mind, so I'd say I want to focus more on my own career as a singing artist.”

I have created 2 mollies for T ramp on Overpass CT side together w REALZEN3434 They are thrown from spawn 3 and 4. Those are the best 2 spawns on CT side for A. They require a bit of practice, but I think it is worth it, since the T with a pretty good spawn will get approximately 30 dmg if he does not extinguish the molo. Others will get fucked. I think it is especially worth it against force buys/when Ts have low money, since they have to waste a smoke + if you combine it with playground molly, they need to waste 2 smokes, which is not worth it, so they have to wait it out. I am sure you can throw this molo from every spawn if you search for it a bit, but then the first T guy can run through it, so just be aware. Pretty nice I think:-D

Highguard impressions after 12+ hours on PS5 Pro. I've read the PC version is unoptimised, so exp there may differ. Included video of a 17 kill match with randoms where I was also explaining mechanics to a new player. + LOVE the integration of mounts. Morphing onto them and rushing through maps is thrilling, fast and fun; can feel like a medieval soldier charging into battle. + Mounted chases and combat is cool. + Weapons feel punchy and general controls are great. Once you get to grips with it, can be so fast and mobile, inc jumping with mounts straight onto zip lines etc. + As I don't have the attention span of a gnat, I enjoy the exploration and looting downtime between rounds/high intensity action heavy moments. Offers a calm before the storm vibe and allows you to enjoy the scale, environments, mounts and art. + Enjoy the fusion of looting, catching/chasing shield breakers and Counter Strike style bomb detonation or defusing. Things get crazier and crazier over a match, and the environment destruction adds strategy and approach variation, allowing you to mould choke points etc. + Solid skill ceiling with a lot of strategy in team play, abilities, map control etc. Those with higher play IQ and the ability to master multiple mechanics simultaneously, will be highly rewarded. + Most of the characters are well balanced, with differing abilities and strategy purpose. + Weapons are generally well balanced. Don't mind not having my weapons of choice. + Cool art direction and sense of scale. At times a bit like a more fantastical AAA Breath of the Wild. + Maps are well designed with great vistas, draw distances, huge towering structures, good choke points and lots of approach points. Also diverse in biome styles; lava, overgrown, desert, snow etc. + Sound design is strong. Foot and mount steps being exaggerated also brings tension and spacial caution. + Skins of weapons, characters etc are varied and high quality. Even free ones. Many aren't just different coloured variants but totally different outfits and weapon models. + With two good teams, the constant back and forth can make for some thrillingly tight, clutch or saved in the last second type moments. + Nice design details; keeping loot on death, each round loot rarity increasing, shield bearer being a beacon, being able to teleport back to base, mount health etc. + Progression so far seems fair, and cosmetics not too excessively priced. + Performance on Pro has been solid, and I've not had a single bug, glitch, matchmaking error etc. - Shielding up your base needs work. Often times not effective enough. - Image quality is pretty poor, especially in motion. - Most randoms don't have a clue what they're doing and many don't have mics, can make things much harder and less exciting, esp when team play is so effective. - Wish the free Battle Pass had more content, or there were more free unlocks. - On some maps loot is too spread out. - When enemy has shield breaker and you die, can sometimes take too long to get back into the thick of it. - Weapons are a bit uninspired. Basically just typical archetypes like revolver, AR, shotgun etc. - Would have liked more weapons and characters, but for launch it's decent. ___ Overall, so far I'm really enjoying it and have actually been quite hooked. I'm not a clairvoyant so can't tell if it'll hold my attention long term (that'll partly depend on post launch support), but initial impressions have been solid. I was highly critical of games like Concord, Redfall etc, but Highguard isn't that, it's far higher quality. Highguard ultimately has aspects from multiple different games I love, so while individually they're not so innovative or unique, having them all combined together with the mount riding, great gunplay, scale etc, to me is fun, engaging and pretty fresh. Still, this is a more methodically paced and playing FPS; those wanting constant shoot shoot bang bang, look elsewhere. #Highguard #PS5 #PS5Pro

Often times not effective enough. - Image quality is pretty poor, especially in motion. - Most randoms don't have a clue what they're doing and many don't have mics, can make things much harder and less exciting, esp when team play is so effective. - Wish the free Battle Pass had more content, or there were more free unlocks. - On some maps loot is too spread out. - When enemy has shield breaker and you die, can sometimes take too long to get back into the thick of it. - Weapons are a bit uninspired. Basically just typical archetypes like revolver, AR, shotgun etc. - Would have liked more weapons and characters, but for launch it's decent. ___ Overall, so far I'm really enjoying it and have actually been quite hooked. I'm not a clairvoyant so can't tell if it'll hold my attention long term (that'll partly depend on post launch support), but initial impressions have been solid. I was highly critical of games like Concord, Redfall etc, but Highguard isn't that, it's far higher quality. Highguard ultimately has aspects from multiple different games I love, so while individually they're not so innovative or unique, having them all combined together with the mount riding, great gunplay, scale etc, to me is fun, engaging and pretty fresh. Still, this is a more methodically paced and playing FPS; those wanting constant shoot shoot bang bang, look elsewhere. #Highguard #PS5 #PS5Pro

Injuries are starting to pile up for the Eagles. I don’t get a sense there is long term concern. Eagles are playing it safe. The concern for me would be — how many snaps are the starting 11 players on offense and defense going to have in camp together? Less than 100? Not ideal
